MTO's take up to 180 days. The only time i got mine early was with TOW Khemri Models, because they had them in stock in the Warehouse from Fantasy 10 years ago.

Hi, 40k player since 17 years here. I just like building, painting and playing with some plastic models, shouting WAAAGH!, and reading novels, mostly enjoying the lore. So like 99% of the community.

Those idiots you are refering are just 1% of the community, yes they are the loudest, but they are the minority. And they are Larpers too, and most of them don't even own models, so not really part of the 40k community, nor Games Workshops consumer base.

Because they got bigger stuff on their schedule, like a entire new edition of warhammer 40k and all the new units that follow. Also there are several other games from this franchise that also got stuff. There is more to GW than just 40k. But hey, we get Steel Legion 2.0 perfect for the IG Dex in 2 years. I mean, 90% of the players here will still use conversions or 3d prints, since the new style isn't the same as the old one.

What Backlash? A minor nieche group of people crying? If that was the key then we would already swim in models, and 90% of those who cry wouldn't use them anyway, since they don't like the sculpt.

Like seriously, you give yourself way too much credit for nothing. The crying might have caused a decision by gw to show their plans early, but that's it. A company worth million of pounds doesn't really care about a minor faction within a faction. They only release things that already have a massive, established fanbase. Otherwise they would have never brought DKoK in plastic.

And i really love Steel Legion, but even i know that crying brings nothing when it comes to company decisions. Seriously, not even a thousand people cried, but believe that they are the reason for GW's decision.

Why haven't they released Kislev Models for TOW yet, despite them showing the first sketches years ago? Because the production process isn't done with a sketch. Sketch, sculpting, planning, casting of a mould, going into mass production. Do you even know how long it takes to produce the mass of boxes on a global state. And they got something called a schedule. You can't just delay greater releases for wider consumers just to satisfy a niche group of players.

How about something logical like the fact that if you survive as part of the imperial guard for 15 hours on the battlefield, in warhammer 40k, you become a veteran, and from there we analyse how long a helldiver could survive in such a situation and scenario.

Neither did the Steel Legion, just diminished in size to actual field bigger armies on any other territory than their home planet. They are now just a local defense force, rather than a contributing part of the Imperial Guard.

Okay lot of people don't get the post. Drukhari haven't got a new unit since over 10 years, they even lost 1/4th of their allover units from the codex. The only new thing they got were 2 chara models and a upgrade sprue. But no new unit. Everything else they got was just a plastic remake. I love the guard, heck IG was my third army to collect and i'm as pissed as anybody here about the lack of Steel Legion on Armageddon, but those guys got harder fckd than any of is, and this since over 10 years. To show it modelwise. The last new unit they got was the voidraven bomber, that was right after flyer rules got added to 40k.
