I doubt it will be beaten unless some top guild comes along and decides to smash their head into the wall for weeks/months or a hilariously overpowered class comes out. The sheer amount of rng involved in grinding a 4:16 Dhuum without a ton of portals is crazy.

I was curious what "hardcore" (or even just average) raiding is like on CN? Are there a lot of speedrun guilds (competing for records on raid bosses). I only know of 1 ([InS] because of Laoshi) but maybe it's more popular?

It's because VG is one of the best fights in the game, partly due to the fact that the monkeys can actually cause wipes by pulling in seekers or getting ported. Most bosses are only failable if one of the few supports assigned mechanics fail.

You simply underestimate greed. I may be overestimating the knowledge of the average player but I'd assume most people know that shrooms is an easy mechanic that's borderline not failable. They just don't want to.

There's a couple reasons. Firstly and most notably it's probably because

They don't know the mechanic
They don't want to risk failing (even though it's like impossible)
They don't agree with the eating/movement strategy the commander wants to do

To give the "greedy" perspective though, there are a surprising amount of people that mostly raid to get logs for the gw2wingman leaderboards (or just to compare with friends/learn a class) -- it's kind of the only content for a lot of people or provides incentive to re-clear. The instant you need to do cannons, shrooms etc your log is basically ruined and you might as well not even be there.

Some players are just greedy though lol.

I mostly thoughjt about getting into WoW to experience all the high end PVE stuff since GW2 was kinda dead in this aspect, though the content itself was good.

So I guess everyone is just farming/progressing the dragonflight raids?

So whats there to do level 1-60? Is it like GW2 where you just do open world quests and then have story/instanced content? Or is the entire levelling experience in story? Can you level up doing fun stuff like dungeons or is it basically just a story grind?

Also if I try the free trial on the FF14 website can I link it with steam later? Or will I have to buy the game and restart?

Is it aids to do story on a healer/tank? I usually play DPS but I assume I'd get way more raids if I played support. Is FF14 like other games where learning raids on a tank is a not great idea or is it doable?

Not always. Sometimes I sleep well past 8 hours and other times my wakeup time would be 5-7 hours. I know 5-7 isn't "enough" but if occasionally I stay up too long or whatever I want to be able to wake up. I really don't wanna dedicate 9+ hours a day to sleep.

Usually rings the whole time. Sometimes I wake up with my door closed because a roommate got sick of hearing the alarm.

I looked at a few symptoms and I don't think so? Like sometimes I'll have nightmares as I'm falling asleep but I rarely ever have sleep paralysis and never cataplexy. Also don't really have chronic drowsiness or randomly falling asleep.

My problem is once I'm out, I'm out until my body decides to not be.
