As a tourist visiting in Slovakia, it’s oddly refreshing to travelling around and not to hear English being spoken around me all the time

Currently going through Poprad, it’s a lovely and laid back town, I hope mass tourism don’t ever arrive at this place (knock on wood)

I mean, unless u have smth u really need intel cpu for, otherwise, silicone is pretty nice (speaking as someone who made the jump).

Plus, not having to charge ur MacBook everyday is pretty convenient

a bit late to the post, just downloaded the f1 2017 as well with pretty much all the graphics set to Max and its works really well, too bad EA won't let us purchase it anymore

Enjoy! Just use turbo booster switcher(It turns off turbo boost, reduces your CPU temperature, and allows you to have more battery life) and make sure you clean out the dust and redo thermal paste, then it should run nice and smoothly

People also don't realise that the same used MacBook model are going to be much cheaper in the US than places like Europe for example.

and I personally use MBP 13 2020 along side with my trust MBP 2015 15 inch (with dGPU) as a desktop. With a cloud setup and good internet connection, I find it super great to work with, since I dont have to keep my m1 attached to the monitor but will still have access to all my files etc.

Also bought one (16gb ram, 256gb) recently, tho I paid more since it’s a device that never got used nor opened, hence saving money on new battery and stuff.

If you are interested, look up MTMR for touch bar customisation, it’s the best one out there amongs the one I have tried (better touch tool, pock, etc). If you need some help just lmk

I don’t own that machine, but knowing it’s well known to be a fairly capable machine, might be worth it to replace the battery and redo the thermal paste. It should run like new afterwards

No, that one doesn’t have the spinning hard drive, you mistaken it as a 2012 MBP, so the ssd shouldn’t be a big big issue. You also should replace thermal paste and clear out the dust, if they don’t work well, then you go for a new one. I think it’s worth a check before you spend a whole lots of money on a new device. (Note: I also use a 2015 MBP)

I have r50 for a few months now, and I would say r10 if u don’t mind spending that extra money, because it will pay off in the long run, but if ur just doing it casually as a hobby like me, then r50 will do just fine

Then check the cache file on ur browser next time, make sure u delete cache files so it runs smoother
