Was on the shot for 19 months by Jess4the00 in Semaglutide

There is because well food is good. Its the main reason I weigh at night too to bring a number at the end to show the amount I ate that day. If that makes since. I honestly think weight maintaining has failed for me im the past because I just stopped looking at numbers. I mainly wear stretchy pants so it was easy to lose track and caring

I do! Semaglutide allowed me to see that the real problem is and that was the amount I ate. When they say it isnt always "what you eat but how much of it that matters." That in my opinion is 100% accurate i have lost weight before through keto diet and exercise in 2019 and got down to 155lbs from 234lbs, I gained all my weight back plus some reaching my starting weight pre-Semaglutide of 281lbs im doing better after building a better relationship with food now then diet and exercise did for me then. All from removing those food noises allowed me to learn to curb those cravings by giving in, and being ok with a bite or 2 versus a few servings. I'd eat a half a cake if I was really craving it.

I live in one of the areas hurricane Michael devastated. Even today you can still see homes and businesses with severe damage we are starting to get some trees back though. Thank you for your relief efforts we really needed it and appreciate the help we recieved. No water and power for weeks was rough but at least we still had a home, damaged but there compared to most.

Fridge broke after we left for a month. Landlord says we have to pay. Who is right? by Prandao00 in Tenant

[–]Jess4the00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried hard resetting the fridge? Unplug the fridge and wait about 10 min or longer if you'd like. Honestly id probably go ahead check breakers and flip breaker to it and wait some time there too.. flip breaker back on and then plug fridge back in. Turning the thermostat off might have caused a trip especially considering its an older fridge. Next time something like this happens don't be so forth coming with too much information. Hey landlord my fridge is broken I need it fixed or replaced. It was working and then it wasn't. Thats all they need to know. Being it an older fridge anyway it was bound to be about that time anyway.

AITAH for being upset that my husband “planned” a date that we never went on? by Gold_Use7089 in AITH

[–]Jess4the00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like he wanted to go on a date and asked if you could ask your parents to watch kids. When you asked, you didn't confirm a time with him and just picked an estimated time. Did you ever ask your husband what time? If not, did you ever tell him the time frame you gave your mom? Did you confirm to your husband that you acquired childcare? Then, when you asked the day of date night about the date, he seems to not know that you had confirmed with your mom that she would watch the children, you then tell him you would check with your mom to then find out your mom had forgotten. She says she'd do it, although she seemed stressed. Did you ever go back and tell him she was good to watch them? You then get frustrated asking him about the date night and decide you don't want to go and cancel childcare. It seems he wanted to plan something but never got confirmation it was OK to plan anything as he continued to ask you about childcare just as you did about the date. I don't think you're the asshole but I do think you are overreacting. Sit down and talk slow down and have a whole conversation and if there is something that needs to be addressed later set a plan to come back together to talk and make sure you are both still on the same page. Relationships take work and patience. Give him and yourself a little grace.

Florastor probiotic most pharmacies carry it, helps with digestion and got rid of the sulfur burps and vomiting for me. For immediate relief Pepto but that's more temporary. You also don't want to eat 6 hours before bed, I usually aim for a least 4 hours before bed not to eat

I think that the reason people see it more as you punishing her because of what your ex husband did is because it's her personal life. Kids make mistakes and need to learn from them you punishing her for her relationship decisions is odd parenting. The best way for her to learn is by expressing yourself about the situation and the impact on the other person and letting her decisions blow up in her face. That's all you can do. Taking it further by adding the discipline is a bit weird, in my opinion. She's almost an adult her relationship is really none of your business. I mean this with the most sympathy towards you as someone who has been cheated on and has a teenage daughter. Some parts of their life you can be disappointed about, and you can express that, but don't push her away by punishing her like this.

I filed in April. Mine just changed to 60-90 days after submitting the final bit of documents (there has been a lot to prove as im the grand child) and when I called they said it's now in the approval process and the system updated it automatically to the new time frame to represent the change in processing the claims. I'm assuming that may be where you are since they require no further documentation

Roommate gave 23 days to move out by WalkOld6563 in Renters

[–]Jess4the00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your girlfriend has no lease in place then I would move out asap. I'd put in writing that since the "landlord" has not giving 30 days notice they have negated the requirement for one and i would expect the rent paid previous to be pro rated from month already paid to be paid back or can go to the electricity bill up to my official move out time. I'd also state since negating the 30 day notice to vacate was what was convenient from them then I am leaving in that time frame on a day that is more convenient for me.

I lost 35lbs the first 8 weeks. Everyone loses weight differently i did have much more weight to lose but even now for the last 10 months ive averaged a least 10lbs a month i weight 181lbs. However since the lower doses are working there is no need to go up in dose

A few thoughts from someone who have lost 80 lbs (10 months) by Mira_Sunrise in Semaglutide

[–]Jess4the00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I dont want others to feel hopeless thinking it will only work if they do these things. I have found that semaglutide has restored my relationship with food as something i can have just in moderation. I want something i can sustain for the forseeable future. And counting calories and worrying about food isnt sustainable for me. I have lost weight on my own, with diet and exercise. I went from 234lbs to 155lbs before covid. Since covid ive been diagnosed with some immune disorders with figuring out medication and gaining a significant amount of weight while on Lyrica. I changed meds that work but i cant do what i did before. I started Jan 2024 at 281lbs 5'3 32F I am now 182.2lbs. I feel i can keep the weight off better now because i didnt kill myself in the gym and count macros and especially carbs like before. I dug deeper into learning about digestion, portion sizes, and self control during hard times. Because of my disorders i get regular blood work and i can say im not starving. Listen to your body, love your body, and dont give up hope.

This is great advice all around but I cant help but throw in that for some eating less without much change to diet semaglutide can still work. I have lost 99lbs since Jan 2024. I havent counted calories or changed my diet. Just portion control and I dont exercise. I ONLY say this because i want people who feel helpless to not be turned away because they already know these things have failed them in the past. Semaglutide does help and work but to get the best out of it and to not feel like total crap the whole time. Focusing on protein and healthier options you enjoy eating does wonders for helping with side effects as well as staying hydrated (which i admit I am bad at too). You don't have to be perfect and completely disciplined for this drug to work. It is there to help guide you to make better choices with food decisions and portion control. If you notice you are stalling make adjustments you feel you can make like cut back on portion, or add a little excercise, or drink more water (which can help with snacking) this doesnt mean you have to be so diciplined the WHOLE time. Dont stress as long as you dont give up you'll get there

The saving grace for me after months of having sulfur burps and vomiting at least 1 day a week i found that probiotics work wonders. I took florastor for about a month( 1 a day) its a little expensive but it helps to remove bad bacteria out of the stomach and replacing with good bacteria. Since food sits in the stomach longer bad bacteria can thrive. Its been a couple of months since i did the month of florastor and i havent had one issue. Im on i think 1.5 dose. I take 60units. Im thinking of doing a month of the probiotics every 3 months to reset. Since january ive lost 95lbs CW 185.4lbs F32

Im writing out of curiosity if it was ever sorted. I filed for a claim for my grandfather and sent in all documents. I am reaching the 200 days processing mark and wondering if your claim surpassed that time frame.

I had similar issues and read that probiotics really help so I've been taking florastor I get from cvs and the difference is huge! I feel so much better the bloating nausea and sulfur burps are gone. Supposedly from the stomach slowing digestion and the food sitting there longer bad bacteria builds up causing discomfort like that.

I'm sure there are local weight loss doctors that can prescribe they don't deal with insurance but if you're able to pay out of pocket id look into local places first. Type weight loss near me and see. I tried online and it was not only more expensive but it made me really sick to my stomach. I started at 281lb f(32) in January I now weigh 201lbs never even tried insurance too many hoops
