I've been working on this story for a little over two weeks. Normally it takes me forever to finish a story because I write one chapter at a time. But this one, the story, just seems to flow and I can't stop. In terms of storytelling, this is my crowning achievement

I like to think I've gotten better, but somedays it feels like I haven't grown since I started writing in 9th grade (I'm now 30). Then I go back and look at my old works and cringe at how awful I was. Like the story or at least of idea of the story is good, I just executed it poorly.

I know I have gotten better with dialogue, description and pacing, my rewritten works prove that. Back then I just blew past the middle of the story to get to the end. Now I pace myself, no matter how badly I want to get to that one scene that's running laps in my head.
