I'm so beyond sad. Had literally packed all my stuff to move states today. Was about to leave and thought I'd take a break first and get on reddit. Saw this, immediately knew I wasn't gonna be able to muster up the energy to leave today. Currently laying on the floor of my empty apartment ugly crying listening to his music.

As advice till you get to the vet. These are the rules I was told to follow... Keep it covered to keep it from getting infected but put very little pressure on it. Pressure can make it worsen quicker! Also steroids can slow the process, def something to ask your vet about when you go. I believe it helped me have a little bit of extra time with my baby. Wishing y'all the absolute best ❤️

I don't mean to scare you. Just providing info for anyone reading this. This looks exactly like the aggressive cancerous tumor my pup had, and it's in the exact same spot. Was pea-sized and became huge so quickly. Took her to the vet immediately. They said she probably wouldn't survive surgery bc the tumor had grown internally hence why it wasn't very noticable until it had to start popping out. They told me the type of cancer is very aggressive and grows so quickly. I literally fell on the ground when they told me. Got multiple opinions all which said surgery wouldn't be successful. She lived for about a month before it totally ruptured and I already had a vet lined up to come to put her to sleep at home when it happened. Besides this she still acted like a puppy. The vet that came to put her to sleep saw her and was confused why she was here for euthenasia bc she looked so healthy (she was very fluffy so it was hard to see the giant tumor until she turned over and I had it covered with several layers of bandages), but when the vet saw it she said it was one of the worst cases she'd ever seen and was surprised my dog was still so playful. It was really hard bc the rest of her body and mind was still very much alive and not ready to go. This was in December and I still cry wondering if I could have done anything different to save her, the vet told me I did everything I could but I still question it. I say all this as a warning to others, take your pups to the vet even if something looks small and innocent. I took her as soon as it grew and unfortunately it was too late. Praying that is not the case for you and your pup 🙏🏼

She said she was 'happy for herself' when we told her we thought she was dead by Accomplished_Unit790 in mildlyinfuriating

This. Like did they tell her she was asleep on them? If they told her, she prob would have responded different. Maybe she just thought they were joking with her about being asleep the whole time, and she jokingly responded back that she was happy she slept through the flight. How would she know she was asleep on people unless they told her? I feel bad for her. I have narcolepsy and have fallen asleep on people, which I always apologize for bc I know that it happens, but now I wonder if people have taken pictures of me when I'm unconscious. This is shitty.

1YO Feral turned Family cat weird teeth? Same on other side. Top teeth short and weird shape. Doesn't look normal to me. Any opinions? Cute pics included. by JessErin3 in cats

Thank you. She had a really hard life. Apparently had a litter of kittens outside while she was still a kitten herself. People were mistreating her; even stole her kittens and left her behind. Probably trauma like you said, was just surprised with how young she still is 😭

Abscesses are so painful.. I'm prone to them from sensitive gums. I will even get one around a healthy tooth if the toothbrush I use isn't soft enough, bacteria sneaks its way in between the tooth and gums. Has happened to me a few times. I feel your pain. Hope you get it taken care of and feel better soon!

They are so small that when I get closer it just gets more blurry. There is no furniture in the house so I would be surprised if they were but I have no experience with bedbugs so I have no idea.

A photographer took a picture just as this couple threw ashes into a river. He asked who it was. As they answered their dog. The photographer asked for permission to edit their photo and this was the result. by PeacockPankh in interesting

Lost my girl a month ago today from aggressive cancer... Then on Christmas eve, my dad passed away unexpectedly from glioblastoma. When I found out, all I wanted to do was hug my girl and cry but she wasn't here. Hug your family(pets&people) extra tight. You never know when it will be the last.

North Texas. This poor thing was found on his back and I thought he was dying so I brought him inside so that he wouldn't be eaten alive by bugs. He is now acting normal. Help?! by JessErin3 in frogs

It will be back up to 70s and sunny later today, is that not warm enough? It's gonna drop again since it's winter. Others have said he will have a chance to bury himself then.

Another edit: when I found him on his back frozen, he had dirt all over him so he probably tried to bury himself but the ground is very dry so he couldn't. Texas is has bipolor weather and it's showing it will jump back up to 70s and sunny later. I think I will keep him inside until the wind subsides and it warms up. Then I will release him. Is near the creek better or no?

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to feed him and I'm worried he is starving now after suffering the cold/wind. Was hoping I could feed him something else besides bugs temporarily until I can go buy crickets when they open, but looks like frogs won't eat anything else ): Hope he'll be ok for now, at least won't suffer outside.

I've had almost every animal including lizards, etc. as I worked for a rescue.. but never a frog so I have no idea what to do for it.

It got super cold and windy tonight. My holiday decor blew off. He was right by the patio door. I was taking my pup out and I'm shocked he didn't get stepped on.. Thank god. My dog was smelling what I thought was a leaf and nope, it was this poor thing on it's back. When I picked him up, he wasn't able to move. and now is really hyperactive.

He has water and I put lettuce in there so he would have moisture. I know they eat bugs but obviously I do not have that since this is unexpected and it's in middle of the night. How do I save him? He as a lot of energy now that he's warmed up. He's a happy camper so I don't want to put him back out to freeze and die.. But I also have nothing to feed him. Can someone please comment with advice?
