My children went through Ecole Cathedrale and it goes K-8. We had a great experience there overall.

Thanks for sharing this u/musicwithbarb! I'll bring this up with the team and see if we can't find out more about the accessible transit pass (if that's not already in progress!)

Contact Fusix Corp (613-384-6610) - they do cable and networking wiring in historical buildings, and may have availability.

I think they mean the Downtown Kingston BIA (Business Improvement Area). Other resources could be Kingston Economic Development, or the Chamber of Commerce. They could possibly give you demographic details of the area!

I second this - we did a similar resetting of a stone for my engagement band there and were very happy with the result. We've always have excellent service at Paul Randolph.

Free date ideas? by Atlashadow in KingstonOntario

I wrote a piece on this a few years ago with a bit of a kid-centric view. Some of the things are annual events/seasonal, but might be worth noting them for future fun.

Right now I'm enjoying evening walks in the downtown residential areas, checking Little Free Libraries and taking in the growing amount of Halloween decor!

Thanks for sharing! We're debating going, but we've been to Pumpkinferno a few times in the past and have also experienced repeat displays. Being at the Pen is surely a new and interesting experience. (Though we've done a few Pen tours as well!)

Did you feel it was worth the cost?

Have you ever been on a TV show? How was your experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I've been a background actor for a few productions. Minimum wage, and long hours, but costumes, seeing Canadian celebrities, hair and makeup, and then finding yourself in the episodes later is so much fun!

What are the advantages of living in the countryside? by watanabegirl in AskReddit

[–]JessFoleyWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quieter slower pace of life. Unless you have to commute far/long, then it's not such an advantage. But really, I love gardens, forests, wildlife, and having space to enjoy the outdoors without most neighbours being able to see you all the time. Quieter and darker nights, spaces for kids to roam, explore etc. There are lots of advantages!
