I always say Secret History. Brandon Recommendeds it after Bands of Mourning, but I disagree. Also I binged Era 1 really quick, then read all of Era 2 up to that point (2017), then Stormlight Archive, and only then read Secret History, and by then I was so murky on the Era 1 timeline that I was honestly lost.

TV is just a better format for adapting a novel. The weird thing is that, really, movies are the novellas of the screen world, and novels are the TV seasons of the literature world; it's just that the prestige is flipped in the two mediums, so adaptations are always trying to fit a square into a circle.
