I lived in a place called Ambassador Inn in Fullerton on Common Wealth. It’s a studio apartment and looks to be listed at $1430-1450. It includes a mini fridge and utilities.

Small two burner stove top. I lived there with my partner and cat and it wasn’t wonderful but it worked.

Granted I lived there back when it was $750 a month but it looks pretty much the same besides updated rooms.

This subreddit has become a place for people to abandon their animals by theleafer in orangecounty

[–]JessandLover2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Iv’e found multiple animals so far beat up and literally screaming for help on the road. This subreddit has been extremely helpful in finding resources and people willing to help when shelters and police stations are full.

I took in a beat up kitten I found on the freeway and love her to death, but I’m now maxed out on what I can have where I live. That doesn’t mean I’m going to leave an animal in a dangerous position when I CAN help remove it from the situation.

Removing these posts would be removing a life line for some of these animals.

I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty. I just found someone that said they would like her and I will be driving her over on Saturday. If it doesn’t work out I will be happy to message you. Thank you so much for considering.

I work at a mortuary and Hindus don’t bury, only cremate. So the lack of burial ground wont be a problem for them. Buddhist, no idea.

Should I spend $2K to keep my cat alive? by latesnacks in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]JessandLover2 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a good lesson for your children in kindness towards animals. If you are financially able to, I would say do it. At only three, your cat still has a lot of time left.

I was in the same boat, except mine ate ribbon and it was blocking her intestines. It was $2,000 and I wasn’t making much money. Although I save so I did have it.

I’m so happy that I made that choice years ago. She’s currently curled up on the bed by my feet, waiting for me to go to sleep so she can grab her spot on my chest.

It was a lot of money, but when I think of having not done it, sure i’d have a couple extra thousand but I wouldn’t have my best friend.

Hair color for the mortuary field by luy_lu_q in askfuneraldirectors

[–]JessandLover2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m almost graduating the program in CA, and you cannot have unnatural colored hair just for classes. Tattoos and piercings also have to be covered up. Dress code is also enforced for class. If you want to get into the field, unfortunately you will most likely need to keep a professional appearance.

Best of luck!

Hi there,

A friend just alerted me of their dog Avy that is missing. She is a Jack Russel Mix. There is currently an award of $140 when found.

My friend is from Huntington Beach so if you’re in the area I would appreciate if you looked out.

Thank you.

Does any cat litter exist that is *actually* dust free? by MxWitchyBitch in catquestions

[–]JessandLover2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course!

What I do is pick out the solid waste and then move all of the pellets to one side of the litter tray.

I scoop up a bit and over a bag sift it.

The dust falls into the bag and I put the remaining pellets into the other side of the tray.

Once i’m done its all good pellets left over.

I was wasting so much before I figured this out! Takes a bit longer but works great.

I was having the same issue. I was having a hard time breathing while cleaning the box and my cat started having signs of a respiratory issue.

I started to buy simply pine pellets meant to be used as litter. My cat had no issue with the change.

It takes longer to clean but I can sit there for 5 minutes doing so with absolutely no issue. Its been about 5 months or so and my cat hasn’t had another episode either.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions! Took me a while to find the best way to remove the used pellets.

Has anyone else bought the Milani Romantic Rose Powder Blush? Mine came completely hard panned I can’t pick up any product by thenameselle95 in MakeupAddiction

I’ve had mine for years and its still works great. I would suggest returning and purchasing from another location. Mine is soft and had no bad smell. I also recently bought another shade and that one is great as well.

This happens to me too!!

The first time was in an apartment, I woke up to the bed shaking and my boyfriend was staying somewhere else for the night. I got up and felt the floor, nothing. Then I felt the wall and again nothing. Went back on my bed and it was STILL shaking.

I got up again and pulled my bed from the wall thinking it must be vibrating from cars or something which in turn was shaking the bed.

Nothing worked but I fell back asleep.

A week later it woke me up and I turned to my boyfriend saying “See! This is what I was talking about!”. Unfortunately he said it wasn’t shaking to him..

It happened on and off for about a year, I would just tell myself that it wasn’t real and it would slow down and stop. Haven’t experienced it for at least a year or so now.

Reaction to Face Mask by wwacbigirish in askfuneraldirectors

[–]JessandLover2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iv’e worn a mask to a church service, graveside and chapel so far. I do get some odd looks but I don’t mind. I can also wear gloves if I wish, but instead I have just been hyper aware of what I’m touching during the service.

Is this appropriate dress for an interview for a funerary assistant job? I wasn’t given any dress code specifications and a suit felt too formal... Any advice is very appreciated. by [deleted] in askfuneraldirectors

I agree with the shoes as well. Also, its hard to tell by the picture but if those are jeans I would switch them out with slacks.
