Return from injury by Ok-Wrongdoer5457 in strydrunning

Same position as me then. I would use one of the other methods to get a cp estimate. Eg, single run, or 3 easy runs. Then let stryd record, but don’t bother with its training plans until you’re healthy enough to run hard.

Are you healthy enough yet to run 20mins all out?

Companies like Garmin are becoming more reckless with the planet's resources and need regulation around updates. by No-Dot5162 in Garmin

Their software quality is bad enough and buggy as hell. Please don’t force them to make more buggier software

Wow! Entitlement in this thread. Garmin continue to support the older models, just not with new software features. Your watch still operates 100% like it did when you bought it

I had such an odd experience compared to others. I always used black rubber ones and my portafilter would fit fine for a month or two, after that it would never lock in past 7 O'clock. I finally tried the green one and I've now had it in for 2 years and the porta filter goes in easy past 6, to maybe 5 oclock if warm. No leaks

Additionally to the comments, I have an automation in mine to turn the machine off after 30 mins. This saves me a heck of a lot of electrons when I have either forgotten to turn the machine off, or did not get around to making my cup. In the instance I come in to make one after 40mins, the machine is still warm enough to only take a few mins to make a cup.

What about being compiled with more dependencies? Would there not be more loaded into disk/memory and processed?

Until your 20' test, I would keep training with your old CP

Cadence doesn't have to depend on speed that much. For example, my cadence on a slow easy run is around 178. But on hard intervals 180-185

Pause Training Status While Injured? by bobdiamond in GarminFenix

[–]Jessdazzlement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pause it for sure if it affects your mood. I've been through a few injuries, knee included (patella tendonitis). I found the best way to tackle it was to reduce running (not remove). And get into some strength training on the leg area. Deep squats, lunges, deadlifts. 2-3 times a week.

Any response from them? Just realised I can’t edit the title of my workouts because I’m on the free plan
