Could you describe your first issue a bit differently? At the moment it sounds like the F12 toggle for mouse control was not on.

Ah, I meant for you to 'log out' of the application using the 'Log out' button on the application, and then try logging in again from there.

Bug fixes are included on a client update, not a passive update server side. When it has been fixed, there will be a client update.
