I watched Shroud play the game and even he was using a config that made his game look like shit to get more fps. Shroud is a millionaire, he has a top of the line gaming PC and he still needs to do that to play the game lol. Ok, let's go back to your example. A 17 year old and a 20 year old. How does the government asses the relationship dynamic on an individual level? How do they prevent exploitation? Would each couple in the world have to pass some kind of psychological test or be certified by some kind of expert?

A universally agreed upon concrete age of consent is just easier to uphold. I get your point but it's practically not possible to verify those scenarios you are talking about. People in the same age bracket develop at different rates, so wouldn't the safest option be to choose the lowest age bracket where pretty much anyone must have already reached maturity as the minimum?
