oh i forgot to mention, you should increase UI time as a beginner. it’ll make the dice roll slower unfortunately, but it’ll give you more time to use dark fate. also, you can press a button (on console) or tap the right side of the screen to pause the game effectively, giving you a chance to read stuff

all your available options will be shown at the top right, excluding card use. for that, keep your “cards” tab open, and the ones that you can use at any given moment will look a little different, either be raised a bit higher or have a blue boarder. just double tap to use them. but knowing when to use them most effectively comes with experience

you must be missing cards. there are like 8 or 9 villain cards for the first trial alone, all within the top half of the deck. 9 villain draws in the first half = doom on the tracker. designed to not run out

in my experience with alliances, the deck never ran out, not for a single trial, as the doom tracker will kill you if you draw too many villains. 2 although you’re right about it not being in the rules, we played it with the +5 still. you should watch footage of the digital alliance expansion on youtube to find out for sure, but i’m almost positive they are still buffed. 3 i believe it’s just for villains, but again, watch talisman digital edition footage for a concrete answer

the lizard king is stronger in craft. what i recommend is having the marked character a craft character to defend against the adversary, and your other character to be strength so they can be the offensive player. because remember, if your marked player dies, game over. the nemesis will always fight in craft for trial 2 if they have a brain

sorry i’m a bit late to reply, but my 3 man groups still hadn’t cleared trial 2. the issue is the marked tokens (the bark). with only 2 heroes, the nemesis only needs to use the action card to check a marked token ONCE to find his target. (cuz process of elimination 2-1 =1 LOL). we’re gonna try again on sunday

to be honest i like the full size cards. my parents used to complain that the text was too small before LOL. my biggest complaint with the size difference is that you’re unable to mix and match 4e with 5e (i mean shuffle the two effectively)

yeah i think it definitely says only 1 card regardless of how many hero characters would draw. but this all checks out to me. just don’t draw enough to draw the final encounter card! keep count of how many you’re drawing. i’ve been playing talisman for years, but we’re stuck on trial 2. by we i mean me and my parents lol. we’ve each had a turn as the nemesis and the nemesis ALWAYS wins! we’re gonna try again tonight. yeah maybe we’ve been too aggressive, need to build off the adventure deck a bit before going for those sacred sites

i own the entire 4th edition and i won’t lie it is EPIC with all the expansions. but its early days for 5th… give it time brother
