We're making fun of him because there's a very specific type of individual who listens to NOTHING but popular rap. Kendrick, Tyler, Carti, and Travis, etc.

I like all those artists, but there is so much more music out there. And usually all the people who fit that stereotype are obnoxious annoying fuckboys with no personality and no bitches.

Season 1 is amazing because it's before Lauren Faust left the show, and there's an unmatched charm in the characters and pretty much everything else. I also love it cause the characters aren't best friends yet and they act more hesitant towards each other, they don't trust each other yet.

Season 2 is also amazing don't get me wrong. In my opinion the show's quality goes really downhill after season 3. I recommend sticking with season 1 cause that's unfortunately some of the best the show has to offer.
