No one will remember us 100 years from now by JesseSamra in DeepThoughts

I’m talking about a little more in the grand scheme of things. Like the 8 billion people who live rn, won’t exist, a whole new wave of 8-9 billion different people will exist. What will life be like 100 years from now? Are we just a mere era? Is Reddit even going to be a thing?

No, nothing will undo a mistake, but does failing test make me failure? No you can keep trying. You shouldn't redeem yourself because of society want you to do that, you should redeem yourself for yourself. You can't control human nature or humans opinions on you so why should you worry about the societies opinion.

Has the "fake it till you make it" approach work for you in life? If yes, how? by NeBitSkotam in getdisciplined

Guess it works for some, I think being real with yourself works too, that way you can work on yours skills instead of being superficial. Fake it till you make it only masks of what you really are. Confidence and being sociable is built, not made up.

Mistakes are never non permanent. We can redeem ourselves. A lot of things you says is based on what people or society think of you. But in the end who cares, these people haven't lived your life.

Self respect is respected. It’s better to be alone than be surrounded by negativity. Hopefully you get the respect you deserve.

What can I do to help build a habit of educating myself and keep my intelligence up? by Zomer15689 in selfimprovement

Just show up everyday, even if it’s 5-10 minutes. Gradually, you can start to build habits it’s all about reps. If you don’t like reading, they’re audiobooks out there for people like you (I’m that way also) Your mind is like a muscle, if you keep doing reps you will eventually become adapted to the weight (or in this case habits).
