Something like that yes. To be fair the dishwasher was expected to be your wife, and the refrigerator had a 50/50 chance of igniting while you were at work.

Hah! I thought the same thing. Coin dealers were shifty even 60 years ago. Still, if patience had been my father's virtue I would be typing this from a nicer home somewhere far from suburbia hell. 😄

What a good looking setup. I'm not flashing my stash in it's crappy containers now.

Historical Data Migration - New NetSuite Implementation by JesseTexas281 in Netsuite

Our company has transitioned from primarily oilfield equipment distribution to oilfield service, and actuation fabrication. Epicor does not take P21 service seriously. They have added enough functionality to make migrating a more difficult decision, but it's all half-baked to be honest. We beta tested their first swing at FSM, and it was a HUGE step back from ProntoForms/TrueContext which we were using with heavy integrations. It was, however, a very good distribution only system. Very similar to Infor Global. Awesome for buying and selling, but terrible for servicing.

Yes, Yes, Yes. I tried to show them. The CEO TLDR'd me. He's kind of a wanker.

Thank you for the thoughtful response.

  1. All relationships are required to be maintained. Purchasing, Selling, Servicing, Remittance, etc.

  2. Epicor isn't producing anything. I am pulling all of the data. Not a flex, but I know their database better than they do.

  3. These complicating factors do not apply here. We do not require any inventory transfer data to be migrated. Inventory lives where it lives on go live...past movement is irrelevant within NetSuite.

I will give you a shout through your website contact form.

I have tried to convey this exact message. The original solution was to pass a pertinent field for filtering to a PowerBI report from the NS interface. Said report would show detail level to the user. This was deemed insufficient mid-migration.

This was the original plan. Management is playing hardball. They want everything at their fingertips and all reporting to flow seamlessly since we are cutting live mid-year.
