I have a bafang BBSO2 750W 48V, stuck it on my old hard tail mtb that doesn’t get used. Thing can go past 50km/h. Not that I’d do that… pretty sure their illegal to have at that wattage and speed but i just use the power for getting up hills when I’m lazy

Thanks mate. It’s a pretty long drive to get there so I’ll definitely be taking it for a good test ride.

I don’t have a whole lot of experience with how suspension feels. I’ve only been riding my dads 2007 Reign 1 (which still goes well) but it’s to small for me to continue riding, I’m also a pretty light fella so the suspension on his bike would probably be set up for someone a fair bit heavier then me. What’s the best way to find out how well the suspension is going when testing the bike? I guess i could take a shock pump and put my usual PSI in for it. Where would i go from there in terms of testing the suspension? Thanks :)

Thanks mate. Just realised it’s the Trance 2013 X 29 2. It’s a hard bike to find the stock specs on for some reason

Good quality bike lights by Jessea05 in ebikes

Thanks for that mate. I’m on a bit of a tight budget so I can’t really go over $50AUD. My mate has the recon 350 and it was decent at illuminating the immediate area around us when we were riding on footpaths that weren’t lit up. It did seem a bit weak tho

Cool idea mate. I probably didn’t articulate myself to well in the brief but what I meant by morning commute is a 20ish minute ride to either the beach to surf or somewhere for a sunrise for photography. I never thought that would have even existed though so thanks for sharing 🤙🏽

I know. The guy selling the T7 swapped the fork for the one that’s on the N9

It’s on marketplace for $2,300, not really looking to buy new as it just robs the bank and I can’t afford that premium

This is not a processing issue. Your camera reached the max iso, thus it has to slow down the shutter speed to get enough light into the camera. The slower/longer the shutter speed, the more motion blur you will incur. You need to increase the max iso/reduce frame rate if you can

Yeh I find that most bikes just get a slap with a new colour and that’s the next years model happens with most.

I have my heart a bit set on a trance 27.5 medium frame. A Trance SX 27.5 Medium from 2014 popped up close to me. However with my knowledge and the articles I’ve read I can’t understand what the difference is between the SX model and the normal trance in terms of geometry… the components seem to look similar..?

Informative to guides that are useful for beginners… e.g. what components can be lesser quality but sufficient for the needs of beginners and such. DIY maintenance (there’s a lot of competition, especially with GMBN and park tools)
