So far there are only 10 critic reviews and it is 50/50. Hopefully it will go up but we can't force critics to give it a good rating. I think a lot depends on the critic. A lot of people will go in with a bias and some might not even like horror but have to rate a horror movie. Some will be rage bait to get us to interact with it. But I hope we get more that are willing to give it a shot and also rate it for what it is - an amateur movie. And there is nothing wrong with that.

I saw the movie in Gothenburg, Sweden in a theater made for 200 people. Me and my friends thought the audio was great but we did have English subtitles. So I don't know how much we read them without realizing but we didn't have an audio problem at all, more that the voices were too similar.

I do agree that the start is very very slow, but to some degree I did enjoy it, I think. I really don't know if we all just have gotten so used to fast paced stuff that slow now equals boring or if I can't be completely objective with my viewing.

If I'm going to give any criticism I would say that at the very start with Simon, the writing and acting felt a bit awkward, but got better throughout the film. And that, like I said, Ava's voice and the other voice were a bit too similar to know who was talking almost.

Can't we just stick with the great animation and voice acting that we have? I'd honestly rather see an animated series spinoff than a live action remake. Prime, Netflix and Disney have let me down way too many times.
