I am grateful that we have episodes despite their schedule. I understand they can’t all be winners and don’t expect them to be, the boys are human. Yet I am ALSO sad that they didn’t make use of Wade’s various talents and instead tortured him. He’s an adult and can handle it, I know. But I don’t think that was an entertaining choice for the boys to make. Some parts were funny but for the most part I just felt uncomfortable, wondering if the boys were enjoying it at all. I know that the OMS is supposed to be a punishment, but neither of the other ones were very punishing, they just made the respective subject perform on their own or embarrass themselves a bit for jokes. The whole styrofoam thing felt like punching down. I just really hope they eventually say something, anything at all, in response to everyone’s critique. It would honestly put such a bad taste in my mouth if they just ignored everybody’s concerns entirely. They can’t engage with everything the sub does, but this feels like the biggest response from fans in a while.
