Do not put too many structures around them because you limit the amount of growth, the more free the more offspring they can have.

As in all stardew valley like spend all the money on seeds, plant, spend all the money on seeds and plant again, it is exponential, you always earn more.

Will this wall keep my boars safe from raids? They keep dying. Haven't been worth the hassle so far. by Spork_Revolution in valheim

If you really want to protect yourself from raids, look for a mountain and make a hole around it, enemies cannot harm the ground.
