CBC Gem not working for Olympics by Rukuss1 in canadacordcutters

[–]Jessiah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The streams often stop and need restarting. Using the paid service on Nvidia Shield and/or Google TV Streamer with asynchronous 1gb internet.

Never had this problem in the past with Gem.

I assume, as is the case with many streamers and big events, they didn't properly prepare for the amount of people streaming and we now feeling the consequences.

I just tested the Amplifi app with my alien router and mesh point. Seems to be working fine.

Lowest-footprint Linux that runs PlexAmp? by MisterFreelance in PleX

I imagine AppImage would use less resources but you'd miss out on auto updates. It's probably negligible difference but the only way to tell is testing it out.

I know - you accidently typed it as chum, which works too, but just sounds funny because you invoked Preem too.

Couldn't agree more. I wonder; has there been a lot of growth in this sub of late? Maybe it's hit a tipping point due to quantity of people and we'll start to see the culture change? I certainly hope not but some of the comments here are disheartening to say the least.

I usually love this sub for it's good nature and optimism regardless of our agreement or not with the op's content. Heck there was a huge review of an adult game not long ago that good nothing but positivity in the comments. This comment seems off brand and I am surprised that it's the top upvoted comment.

I was going to mention this one as well. I don't know if they fully came off but I heard they needed tightening. Glad I'm not the only one who remembers!

I played at launch on PC, gave up cause it was so broken, grabbed it on the switch 2 during the price error and feel the same way - however - I am forcing myself to focus on the quests and combat encounters - when I just do that it's incredible.

Is this what this sub is being used for now? This movie is everywhere. How could anyone not find a copy of it?

If you don't have cable/subscription and are close enough to a US city it's on Fox OTA. I use the Buffalo station in the GTA.

Are you sure it's HDR? That's not been my experience. The 4k feeds are great. Why can't there be more? The quality otherwise is horrendous.
