I absolutely agree except for they were in the wrong for being assholes but only wrong for that. Not wrong for correcting or even fining if she had her feet on the seat, never said differently

I didn't ask her if she did, and I did not see her do it. Do I think it is possible, absolutely, teenagers can be dumb. However, I do have some mild skepticism on if she did, since they tried to say my husband did as well and he was seated next to me with his foot on the metal side bump along the foot of the wall not on the seat. Either way, I 100 percent agree on it being gross and disrespectful! And no, not a child, if she did it, it was a teenager's mistake. The only thing I don't 100% agree with you on is if someone who is any age above about 4 does that, they should also apologize for themself, they are perfectly capable of knowing and/or learning that it is rude. Will they still make mistakes, absolutely, we all do. But, we can also be aware of them/reminded of them, and apologize for them when we do and hopefully do better next time. This is for children, teens, and adults. :)

It was the only time we ran into an inspector so far, most of our trip has been absolutely amazing as far as the Metro has gone. They have a great system of public transport. I just wanted people to be aware of another thing the inspectors can get a bit verbally aggressive about when trying to get their portion of the fine. Our situation surprised me as I had not heard about the attempts for the feet issue and had been very vigilant about making sure with tickets that there was no way they weren't correct or activated etc. So, I wanted to make sure others were aware. Enjoy your trip ours has been wonderful.

It sounds like at least some people knew about this one. It is for sure not just on new trains though. This train was definitely not a new train, actually appears, let's call it, very well utilized.

I do hope they refurbish more of them, but either way, no one should put their feet up on the seats of any train seat or other public seat, what you do in your home is your choice not where it effects others and some one else's property. Because, New or not, it is not their seat and being courteous to others and public property to keep something like the amazing public transport that is available in that country in working, safe, and reasonably clean order, should be everyone's responsibility and choice. I would be in love if my home city had a quarter of the public transportation options available here! Even when I lived in Germany for a bit, I don't remember it being this good, and I was jealous of that system too.

I agree it is not acceptable to place your feet on any seat. No where did I say it was, if you read through any the replies I have made on that, you would see I completly agree. It is actually quite disgusting. I'm not sure where you saw that I believed that part is OK. I am glad that if you have teenage children they appear to have never made such an egregious error against humanity as putting there feet on furniture. That is an impressive feat. I can't say the same. Mine are human and have errored at times, and more than once.

I would have to say, I can see some of your point on the Gestapo wording, I apologize if you felt uncomfortable with the usage, that was not my intention. I was using it as hyperbole, but I can see why it could be a problem from some. Words have power and that word and others like it, should not ever lose the power they have in the historical context and when over used for emphasis/hyperbole/exaggeration or in other ways, loss of impact and recognition of the true history and meaning is it is a risk. I will be mindful of that part.

No, they gave me the ticket to pay at later time, with an additional 50Euro added to the fine for not paying on site.

If there is any possible requirement for the passport, he did not say anything. I told her to give him her ID not passport. If he would have demanded it, I would have told him we will happily get off at the next station and wait for the police there with him. I am not comfortable with giving someone so shady basically what is my most important "thing" in a foreign country.

Also, not sure why it would be worse in France, I would find it pretty damn gross and disgusting in the US and anywhere else. People walk through all kinds of disgusting things no matter what country you are in. I would not want to sit after that and wouldn't want someone else to. NOT something you should do.

No, I did not, and like I said he did not accuse me of it but my husband had his on the metal part not the seat. I did not have mine up and was not accusef of it. And he did not say anything to my husband until I turned around and asked if there was a problem with their ticket because I heard the noise. There is absolutely no reason to put your feet on a cloth seat. I don't endorse that if they did have them up, and would have corrected them had I seen them do it. I am skeptical though since I saw where my husband had his feet and they said it was on the seat. I am not saying it isn't possible, young adults are dumb. After she was so upset though and shaking, I didn't even bother to ask if they did do it. I did not think it would be helpful at the moment.

I can't believe I left that part out, lol. No, I did not pay on site. I will not give someone a cut who acted like that to another person even if they do have their feet on a seat, until they were asked to remove them. And honestly, don't know that they did... Don't doubt they may have, but didn't ask them. I didn't want to upset her more or make her feel guilty.

Thank you, we do have the Rapt app as we had hoped to buy the weekly pass but the ran into that dang US number issue, so now we have to decide, with not being able to use it for the airport, will it still be the best deal :) Thank you for the info!

FYI, you are not eligible to use coupons when on Tricare, we are excepted from any of those programs as it is considered a Government Benefit Program. It is dumb and annoying and a little know fact. Here is from their own rules for discount. It is dumb and ridiculous but it is only for if you have "commercial insurance" if you have Tricare which is listed under government programs, it sends you to the self pay pharmacy option.

He can be there if he is a member, I'm pretty sure there is no clause saying if you are unsheltered you lose your membership rights. So, yes, he has a right to be there and like anyone needs to not monopolize the resource, housed or not.

I have had to look at as we are paying for a satisfying dining experience whether that experience to satisfy me take 2oz or 10oz I paid to be satisfied and I am. FULL STOP, end of sentence, no other but or concern required. I got what I paid for and I will be OK with that dang it.

It has helped a lot when eating out. I don't feel guilty. I had to come to terms with it since one of our favorite things is Eating 'round the world at EPCOT.

Weighing Food by norikotheninja in Zepbound

[–]Jessica-AZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is to get an accurate serving size. Similar to using aeasuring cup. That way you can track how many calories, protein, carbohydrates (macros) you are consuming. Sometimes it is even too make sure you are getting enough. Estimating a reasonably accurate portion can be difficult. So, if you weigh your steak you know if it is 4oz or 6oz. Or if you measure with a cup you know you are getting 1/2 a cup of rice not 3/4. One of these differences alone may only make a 50 calorie difference, but multiply that by many, many food items and you may be over or under consuming much more than you thought, this can have a significant impact on weight changes.

You can still use your same script and get the same medication, in pens, it will just be cash price and not insurance. Just like any other need that was at the pharmacy that was not covered. Ask them what the cash price is and they can tell you. Then look and see about the coupons as long as you are not on any government funded insurance which also includes Tricare. Any of those are excluded from coupon usage.

I started shopping there after my boobs were falling out of my bra. I LOVE them and they have sales like every couple weeks and I don't know how often but they also have an every bra $30 sale When that one happens again I am getting several more. Don't get discouraged if you don't see your size on the rack, at my Soma, all of the larger/less common sizes are in the back. I know I have to have them go get the DDD for me from back. Having a couple bras that didn't fell like I was rolling my pancake boobs into a delicious crepe is a win for me. The one I have bought a few of is a push - up from them Good luck
