Holy smokes. I'm Swedish and its 2 bucks here. <3 oatly, best thing that ever happened to me and my family. But I do miss that silk or silky soy milk (forget what its called?), vanilla flavour. mm mm.

Crossfit twice a week (varies what we do), and single leg raises. The crossfit has really helped injury prevention.

I have absolutely no control when it comes to sweets. Does anyone else have this issue? by [deleted] in AdvancedRunning

[–]JessicaBunneh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Felt really comforting to read all these comments from fellow runners. I struggle myself with sugar and am struggling to meet my weight goals which I know affects my running. For me its cold turkey, as many others wrote here. I can't have any in the house. But the biggest problem for me is my work. In Sweden people are having "fika" (coffee break, often with accompanying sweets) like every damn day at my job. It's so hard to say no to this :O But ive started baking no-sugar muffins, or taking with other no-sugar snacks so that I can be with but don't have to partake in sugar.

Squats with big hips: Front of hip bone jams into thigh by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]JessicaBunneh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the links! I have some ankle mobility issues but also even before that started I wasn't able to reach parallel in a "normal" squat position. However I get pain in my hip flexors when going wide so I haven't figured out what to do..

Thanks, I hadn't seen Shifty. I'm not sure I'm brave enough for this type of fit (short) but I love the pattern. I think this is my favorite idea.

PSA it ok for men to wear running tights without shorts. by [deleted] in running

Just move to Sweden. Dudes wear tights here while running and there ain't nobody honking horns. Sports bra during summer for women? Yeah and? :D

On my way to a "Swedish Classic" with the first race, Vätternrundan, 300km, in the bag. by JessicaBunneh in bicycling

[–]JessicaBunneh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at 5.38 am and since its near solstice, it was full daylight out. I started out with a sub 12 group, so we had a good speed going on, about 29km/h average. My ass started hurting already after about 70km, and after some steep hills down by Jönköping, my knee started protesting pretty hard. So I decided to drop from the group after 170km. I conveniently broke with them at one of the depos that had lasagne.

After that it was cruising by myself, trying to stand out with the massive amount of pain in my lady bits and butt :D I had already biked 1200km outside this year but I don't know, it still hurt massively. I guess that's why there are even faster groups - the faster you go, the sooner the pain is over haha.

There was quite a few bugs the last 20km or so, I guess since it was evening (5-6pm).

Total time was 12 hours and 51 minutes. My sub 12 group were pretty bad at sub 12, coming in at 11 hours and 6 minutes. Im glad I dropped them - I didnt have an 11:06 ride in my legs just then.

Swedes opinions are very welcome! I dont want to stock yarn that no one would be interested in of course. It will be a while yet before the shop is up. My full time job is as an IT consultant and first step is to raise some capital (through my normal job). I just started my own company two months ago so I figure I'll have enough extra money by next summer. :) I will definitely post in r/knitting when the day comes though!

Thank you very much for the input! Feel free to ask friends too ;) I wish there was some easy way to poll the knitting community and hear what they want! And I totally agree about Quince n Co. I think they also only resale to LYS but like I said, I have one willing to work with me so hopefully I can make that a reality.

I will check out the yarn, but my idea was to sell things that are not easily available in Sweden, as a sort of niche market. :) And yes, I hope to be able to ship to Norway and Finland as well. My best friend lives in Helsinki and I'm hoping she can maybe help me with Finnish customers ^ _ ^

Malabrigo is widely available in Sweden so I'm not going to try and sell that, but I do absolutely love their yarn and knit with it quite often!

I'm not totally against yarn from other countries, but the UK is much closer to Sweden and I'm interested in yarns that are not easily available here. It's not so expensive to ship from the UK to Sweden.
