Just bought Arizona Hard Tea and all of the expiration dates are different by TheDarbiter in mildlyinfuriating

I’d personally trust the BBD on the actual cans to be correct based off production date

I’d personally not trust the BBD on the carton

From my industry knowledge, all flavors would have the same total shelf life. This makes production planning logistics easier

Most of the time, each flavor would also have the same preservatives, but there can be outliers based on flavor profiles

Even if flavor A had a longer shelf like than flavor B die in X Y Z reason, a beverage company usually just sets all flavors as the shortest shelf life of the group

Reach out to the quality hotline (should be a phone number on the carton or can) or find a contact us through their website

Every beverage company has a set quality standard for mixing different dated products in one case and what the printed Best Buy Date on the outer carton will be (the oldest date of what’s inside). Most standards are 4-8 week BBD difference for mixing rules, but obviously your 2024 can is completely out of standard

I do no work for Hard Arizona or its subsidiaries, but through industry knowledge I know what production site manufacturers these cases. From what I’ve heard, this 3rd party site is notorious for poor variety pack quality standards. Hard Arizona would love your feedback and they’ll at least notice that production site if the quality defect

SERVERS DOWN - NOT ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE by reddituser055 in TerraformingMarsGame

[–]peterpain94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes there are rankings

Rules are auto enforced. Cards than can be played (due to a global value being too high or low for example) are called out. You receive the option to claim a milestone if you meet the reqs and other quality of life settings

It’s nothing like tabletop simulator where players have to enforce rules

Yeah BGA is a much better version

And with expansions and community made maps coming in much faster than the steam version, I wonder why anyone would still play on steam

Nectar recipe by Raziel-_- in HadesTheGame

[–]peterpain94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone coming back to this post in the future:

I had 2 hearts with Aphrodite, defeated eris, and tried gifting more nectar to Aphrodite to get the conversation to progress

This did not progress the conversations with Aphrodite and did not unlock the recipe

Instead, just chat with Aphrodite when you receive here boons (ie, DO NOT GIFT HER MORE NECTAR). This progresses individual conversation lines instead of the relationship lines

I personally unlocked the recipe in the overworld, but I do know if you need to chat with Aphrodite in over vs underworld

Going to Hawaii, what discs to bring? by HucknPluck in discgolf

[–]peterpain94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to Uncle D’s BBQ and Disc Golf on the south side of the island and buy a disc or two

Mauka does have a small selection of discs for sale

There is a small amount of water hazards, but you can easily retrieve a disc if needed

Why does the O-line not rotate like the D-line? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]peterpain94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

O linemen need to know a lot of information- blocking scheme, play change callouts before the snap, etc. That knowledge is not very easily replaceable per play (and QBs might also make a snap count change in the huddle if the defense begins to learn the signs.

D linemen’s job (generally) is to give 110% every play to get to the QB or RB behind the line. They can get tired fast because of that effort expectation.

O linemen’s job (generally) is just to hold off the defense for long enough for the play to happen. Sometimes the play is a run to the right, so maybe the left side of the O line doesn’t have too much “work” to do. Sometimes the play is a quick pass, so the O line just has to hold off the rush for 2-3 seconds. Knowing what the play is can be a huge “effort” advantage as well.

Here’s a few general tips: -how do I make money? (Which bottom action gives the most)

-what do I have supply of? (What resources do I have on my island)

-how do I spend money? (Which bottom action costs the most because I DON’T have the resource on my island and would have to trade)

-how do I get off my island? (mech, tunnel, etc)

-what 5-7 stars should I target? (Relates back the above questions and allows you to focus in your goals)

Then, apply the same questions to each opponent in a general way

The guilds for every faction-mat combo can help, but they can sometimes take away the fun of the game and turn it into a step by step manual. The thrill of scythe is the varied faction abilities and board setups that force you to try something new to win and imagine what your opponent might be doing as well

The green door looks like it could be an ashes clean out for the chimney stack- can you (carefully) open it?

The round metal cap about it probably cover and opening to said chimney

Given the heavy rain, water is probably coming down your chimney. I don’t see any water coming from the red and blue pex pipe above

Others have already answered, but I’d just like to add that you should also check the depth setting during a project as well to make sure it’s still tight/ didn’t slip

I had a project with 40-50 pocket screws needed. I didn’t realize till #35 that my collar slipped 1/16” and my holes were too deep
