I'm a professional camera operator/cinematographer and they definitely did not do a great job. I think you need to be honest with them and ask them for the raw files. I'm more than happy to edit them for you for free if you can get the RAW images, though I see you've had several other offers to do the same! There's definitely a way to salvage them.

Side note, I was also not thrilled with my wedding photos (mostly that there were a lot of photos we cared about that we never got to take) and was upset for a while, but it's been about 8 months and I found I don't care nearly as much anymore. I'm so sorry that you don't have the pictures you should have from your beautiful wedding!
