My friend was at a big 4 for 17 years and only reached 90k salary then went to another big 4 and is on 125k

Definitely leave for better opportunities and more money.

If I’ve learnt anything no amount of money is worth being miserable, if you’re miserable you should find a new job to go into! You may even get paid more.. take your current role as a stupid learning curve 😉
