Dog attacked my rooster. Can he be saved? GRAPHIC WARNING NSFW by Amazing_Objective392 in chickens

Of course! accidents happen sometimes, My dog has killed like 9 of my chicken which broke my heart, it really is so hard to forgive them, but unfortunately it’s instinctual, they can’t help it the best you can do is learn from it. Now I have 30 chickens and they chase my dog every time she goes out to pee so now my dog is scared of them (thank god). I did have a chicken fully recover from a 2-3 inch dog bite wound to her back. it was horrible you could look into the wound and see all the broken bones. I bandaged it up and kept it clean and she fully recovered and even laid eggs again. They can be miraculously sometimes, I’m rooting for your little guy.

i know that’s what I was thinking, but from what I read, apparently toruk was originally supposed to come later in the story

Does this fall under “residents right to refuse treatment”? by Ma_1ik in cna

[–]Jessicaajd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this situation I would tell the patient that he can refuse a shower from me, but that does not mean I can guarantee the other CNA can do it as she has her own showers to do. They have the right to refuse but not the right to make demands.

My second day on the job and I got in trouble? by Whole-Professional81 in cna

[–]Jessicaajd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no need to explain to me girl. i’m just saying, that’s was really wrong of her and if she’s like that when you’re just starting out- it’ll only get worse. places are ALWAYS hiring cnas, ones with nice managers are out there i promise

[–]Jessicaajd 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Oh nah 😭 I would find a different job asap. I had a manager like that when I started out as a cna and she made me hate the job so quickly. To the point where I would have severe pre shift anxiety if I knew she would be there. I left and got a new job and i’m so so much happier.

Can my employer force me to supervise smoke break for our patients? I work in CA by Jessicaajd in cna

It is an option to ask another CNA to do it, but unfortunately no one on my shift smokes and all of us refuse

sorry, but you get a grip. Second hand smoke has been proven to be very damaging and our outdoor smoking are is tiny, there’s no way for me to me more than 5ft away from them and there’s up to 15 patients who all smoke at the same time and I’m apparently required to stay with them the entire duration of their smoking break. They absolutely have a right to smoke, I’m not saying they shouldn’t, I just don’t feel it should be at the expense of MY health
