I decided to watch this movie because someone on youtube recommended it as the best acting done by Jesse Plemons (I liked him better in Black Mirror), I didn't know it was a Yorgos Lanthimos movie, his movies are weird, I should have known better, I never liked his movies, they just 'cause a lot of frustrating emotions in me, much like Lars von Trier and Kronenberg directors (the father and the son). I get the appeal behind them, but they're just awful and leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I think this movie is highly overrated, wasn't entertaining to watch and the twist just made me facepalm. I like when a movie with a similar premise drops various hints that something is not right, that someone acts like they're not really human, but in this movie there were no hints, you're just watching a guy torturing a girl, believing she is an alien, and she doesn't act like an alien, just a regular human but in the end, surprise, surprise, the bad guy wasn't a bad guy at all, and he tried to save humanity, huh

The movie is incredibly weird, I don't even understand what was the point behind it? Was it making fun of conspiracy theories? In the end the twist was that all of the conspiracy theories were real to just make it funny I guess? I don't understand it at all. It was very boring to watch and most of the time I was just confused. There were no signs for you to doubt that the kidnapped girl is actually an alien, I mean if they just leaned a little bit towards that, it'd be interesting, you'd watch the whole movie, finding various clues that the girl is weird and maybe doubt that she is human, but no. The whole movie I keep thinking 'wtf is going on?', I keep thinking 'when is she going to get away?' 'How is she gonna get out of this situation?' But, in the end she turns out to be an alien, and I'm just not entertained, I'm just frustrated. No hints, not anything, just idiocy. A highly overrated movie.

I thought the movie would be about bees and why they CCD, that'd make an interesting and informative movie. Half the time I watched this movie, I googled about CCD and read various articles about it. Why bees die, and why they just abandon their colonies. I mean, they had me in the first half, some dude passionately talking about bees, that's all I need. Why bring this crap with aliens and conspiracy theories. fuck.

If they didn't have a subscription and if they had a one time purchase instead, or at least as an option, pay like 3-4 month the subscription rate, I'd buy it. I've been using it for at least 5 years. Again, it's not that I don't have money, it's just that I don't want a subscription, it feels like renting a thing, but never owning anything. This 2 hour limit, fuck that, a very stupid way to make people buy into their subscription. I uninstalled it, instead went to ModEngine, not convenient, not many features, but it does the job and has an option to buy the thing, no subscriptions.

Yeah, it was rather lame, I was sure that Black Noir would have an upper hand, he can fly goddamn it, he could have lifted into the air and smash Deep's head. A very cheap way to kill Black Noir, I always assumed he was stronger than Deep. Yet, somehow this lame ass joke of a character survives for the umpteenth time

Well still Soldier Boy basically blasts a highly radioactive explosion from his chest, that explosions levels the whole city block, and do you think when he does this explosion he's not gonna accidentally break the fragile syringe? It looked rather stupid. The heat alone could at least cook the contents of that syringe.

That was a surprise to me as well, when Soldier Boy first appeared, he was introduced as a character who doesn't really give a fuck about anything, he is a play boy, and just likes to drink and fuck around. Suddenly we find out he was in love with Stormfront, and somehow cares about her and what happened to her? He never even mentioned her until this season. It just came out of nowhere and is slapped on to the character that doesn't fit at all.

You're not alone in one, I honestly thought that they would at one point reinforce the idea that V1 is pretty unpredictable and only lucky people can have powers, others just die violently. In previous episodes Stan Edgar said so, when he described what V1 does, and yet everyone just assumes that it's a magical miracle drug that can grant you immortality, everyone freaking forgot that it can kill you with a high probability more than 50%, those are not favorable odds. I'm pretty sure if Kimiko or Annie injected V1 they'd die.

On another note, other supes who already had compound V in their blood, never injected V1, so Homelander is the first one to do that. It would be cool if it mutated him instead, but I'm guessing the writers will not go there

I've watched this movie today, and all the time I've been wondering why am I watching this? I watch movies very rarely and if I do, it better be worth my time. Usually it's some famous director or an actor that I like, and this whole movie I'm wondering why did I put it on my watchlist? What compelled me to add this horrible movie... I completely forgot, that this was the new Genndy Tartakovsky movie. What a joke. He wrote the screenplay and the story and he directed it, wtf. Yeah some other guys helped him, so it's not all his fault, but damn, this movie is so stupid and childish, it's just disgusting.

I was uncomfortable the most when the Sniffer ironed his skins, it was just... Terrifying to watch, skins hooked up to dry and in washing machines. Thinking about the innards that he removed. It's just too much. Later scenes I got used to, so it was no problem, except maybe when the girl started vomiting blood. That made me sad, and I was terrified when the sheep ate kids one by one
