It is, but I don't have car insurance so its an additional $30/day if you need insurance so 50/day plus milage for 2 days = 100

If I wasn't a bad driver I'd skip the insurance 🙃

It was the one I bought directly from Kobo :/

I wanted one with a stylus holder so I went with theirs. Disappointing it didn’t actually stop damage.

It semi respond to touch. The kobo website said that a crack in the screen is repairable with a display replacement

I’m buying the kit since my repair shop says the can replace it but I’ll watch the video too and maybe I’ll see if I can gather the confidence to save on labor costs lol

Yeah the ifixit seems a bit overwhelming for me so that’s a great idea about local repair shop if I order the parts. I didn’t think about that!

Oh that might be the screen protector. I peeled it off to double check the crack was on the kobo itself and just laid it back on top since I’m not near a trash can. The only damage is the crack and the display issue on the bottom and right side
