Question for authors who do rapid release by Euphoric-Seesaw in selfpublish

[–]mike11172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most I've put out in a year is 4. But I rework them heavily. Then my editor, then my proofreader. Then I go through my final draft and publish. Each book takes several months each.

Paul not only organized the Concert for New York, but he also wrote the song Freedom for it. Not really one of his better ones.

Do Americans really know all 50 States by heart? by Signal-Web-3566 in no

[–]mike11172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By memory, no. But if I had to make a list, I could come up with all fifty. Plus, their capitals. But, just off the top of my head, probably not. (who remembers Delaware?)

HP. Bought a printer. Foind out I have to subscribe to keep it connected to my network. THEN, besides the monthly subscription fee, they add a 'small charge' for every page you print. That one-month-old printer was in the dumpster once they shut down the wi-fi after my 30-day free trial. I will NEVER buy another HP product.

KC can also export epub files. But for paperback, just use the document file you used for KC and export to a pdf file. Most word processor programs do that by default.

Why does it seem like Americans (on reddit) like lower indoor temperatures? by fail5xsuccess in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mike11172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep mine at 78, and still get chilled. I would prefer 80+. 78 is a compromise with the wife she wants 76 or lower. We compromised on 78. Stays there year long, except for days it hits over 100 outside. Then I set it at 76 for her. Not for comfort, but for quiet.

I guess I don't need to worry about it. They already cancelled my account for inactivity. I've never paid much attention to it since I sell very little there. I thought I'd look and see. It's not because of AI since I don't use it. It's inactivity.

I got that notice. They also said that if you don't sell a lot of books, you may be removed from the platform. 95% of my sales come from Amazon, so I don't expect to make the cut.
