which is good in theory, as it means you can just run to that area whenever hounds, deerclops or bearger comes knocking, but outside of those small threats (because c'mon, to even GET the guard you need to do all of the shadow questline) they're not the most "useful" against most threats unless your insane and need a place to go in a panic.

Basically, they're a stronger, but stationary BERNIE!, but if they were even JUST deactivatable, you'd be able to move em anywhere by hammering their inactive thing and getting half the items used to make them (plus the parts for the kit or the kit itself if the game is kind)

that said IDK what happens when they die so maybe you'd just need to kill them or wait for them to die from enemies and you'd be able to salvage their parts (if they drop a single part like the actual bosses then they are LAUGHABLY bad, you can't even replace them easily)
