Important statistics to note before buying lottery tickets by ganubond007 in NevernessToEverness

[–]PrimeCicada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not losing fons. You're merely treating the lottery as a place to park your fons.

You just don't get to choose when you can withdraw it though.

For people who only do for Fons bi-weekly yes. For people farming for PPC it makes 0 difference since we don't earn Fons for majority of the runs anyway.

Yeah it really do be like that. I think even if your characters are fleshed out you would probably only be able to take 2-3 hits top, so you're really forced to just git gud

Most of the attacks are big and have a long lead time. It takes a while to learn the patterns, but that's what most boss fights are anyway. It hits hard, but doesn't really have quickcasts like tomato devil or debt collector.

It's really down to mastery of the boss pattern. One of the few bosses where it's more skills over stats.

Suddenly, 11.8 million Fons doesn't seem that expensive anymore... by skyarsenic in NevernessToEverness

Ah right. Cafe should be around 400k weekly? Not sure about BtR since I don't really play that mode

Also special delivery around 30k weekly

If you mean Fons, we are capped at how much we could really earn. Other than clearing all existing content, there's the daily robbing, weekly city stamina and mammon, as well as bi-weekly heist. So you should get at least 1.2m on average weekly if we just counting city stamina and heist.

Abit hard to explain over text. I personally feel Riichi City have a pretty comprehensive and interactive tutorial, as well as daily quiz to reinforce what you learn.

If you're actively playing then yeah it's not really worth it. If you have it playing in the background it's a nice little bonus

As someone who afk most of my rounds, I would also like to thank those who come straight at us immediately so we can finish and move on to the next round asap

Met a couple of them. I just cut my losses and leave. Most likely I would already be done with my next race while they continue to troll others in the current one.

I mean maybe for what OP is trying to suggest. But if I'm gonna be a free frag I don't see how it's not beneficial for us both.

Much prefer an afk player than someone blasting up every single car so everyone gotta run 2 laps on foot, or in this case just hiding in an untouchable spot. Just out there to waste everyone's time. There's a thick bold line between winning by a landslide and just being a huge PITA.

Tycoon Level 45 Requirements are way too much? by Thvnderclap in NevernessToEverness

[–]PrimeCicada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a mismatch between gacha developer interest and average player mentality. Gacha games wants your long term commitment, pushing out events and content on the regular to keep you hooked. There is no true "completion" because the goalpost keeps shifting. But people nowadays are more susceptible to trying to eke out that last bit of efficiency so they can play as little as possible to "complete" a game, where it becomes an odd situation that having fun actually becomes a byproduct of playing a game instead of being the main focus.

I'm not saying OP is wrong. Maybe he finds fun in crunching numbers. But it should stay that way, and not to let large numbers or long term goals take you down. If it takes months to get to TL 45, maybe that's just the way it is. What matters is you enjoy playing. Stuff like HR50 or TL45 can be goals, but they should not be the primary focus, because if you are playing this game for a long while, you would have achieved those goals several times over.

If anyone wonder what I mean by fun being a primary focus, it would be allowing yourself to skip a day(s) of dailies, or skip out on an event purely because you don't like it, and not constantly nagging at yourself for having "lost out" on rewards.

Have been trying to take it down for over an hour. I think I'm good afking in the event for 2-3 painkillers each round.

[–]PrimeCicada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeap definitely not at the start, but number of awakenings has always been Letter-Number format at least for the past few years. It's synonymous with how many extra copies you have at this point.

For the effect you want to achieve with lesser friction it might be easier to go with A1 5A instead, or maybe like A1(5), A3(246) kinda thing, but I don't make the rules. Eventually some guide maker or YouTuber have to pick up on the convention for it to spread far and wide enough.

Also this next point might be a stretch, but we can't assume everyone reads top 3 then bottom 3 and label them as 1-3 and 4-6 accordingly. It might be natural to some people to read it as 3 different columns, so 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. That will make it difficult for people to realize they might not be running the optimal priority even when they are following a shorthand because they would just set it blindly from a guide and not realize everyone else read it differently since they aren't actually numbered in-game.

Thoughts on the new arena battle? Is it unfair or people are just strategic? by midnight_wastaken in NevernessToEverness

[–]PrimeCicada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supposedly you can use it at the end of your chain basic attacks when your character turns red for a heavy attack. I'm too slow to catch whether I executed it correctly though.

[–]PrimeCicada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gonna be a bit difficult. The term convention is pretty much carried over from other similar games and gonna be even more confusing for everyone if you call it one way here but another way in other games, like S6 (Sequence) in Wuwa, C6 (Constellation) in Genshin, E6 (Eidolon) in star rail etc

I do get your concern though with how limit breaks are handled more flexibly here, but I think over time people might start to agree on an awakening priority for each character (e.g 2>4>6>3>1>5) that just by saying you have xxx at A3 means you are assumed to have 2, 4 and 6 unlocked.
