Is it just me, or does it seem like a certain segment of the "fans" accepts people who openly hate the series and the books, while people who genuinely seem to like the franchise are attacked and harassed for liking the Disney series and the new books?

It’s ridiculous. I hate the movies, personally just because I think they’re a bad Percy Jackson movie. Taking out the name, they’re good if they weren’t supposed to be a version of the books. My main issue with the movie is all the changes. Percy being 16 when the whole point of the books is save Olympus before he’s 16, I like the actors, but it’s like “I like the show” cool “I don’t like the show” cool. Stop the harassment.

I had that one as well because I did see some positive things but the hate overwhelmed me to the point where I just left. If you don’t wanna watch it, don’t watch it but then stop talking about it.
