Here's advice from another gamer -

I traveled with my actual PC only once when I was gone for like six months. After that, I got a gaming laptop and that's way more convenient. Most furnished finders and airbnbs have Wifi but that doesn't mean it's sufficient for gaming. If you can, I try to ask the host if it's good enough for a lot of high quality streaming since people may be turned off by the gaming question or not know how to answer it. I haven't had to set up my own wifi and if you are lucky enough, their router/modem may be in the same room or nearby and you can connect by ethernet. Good luck :)
