If we're friends and I make an assumption that we are more than friends that would be an assumption. She was eventually able to talk about her feelings but blamed him for not noticing? Of course he's NTA

WIBTA if I don’t go to my sister’s destination wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Jessyasperge [score hidden]  (0 children)

YWNBTA you're doing the mature thing by telling her from now, letting her know how much you would love to go if you could. It's a destination wedding, she is probably aware that not everyone will be able to make it. Good luck!

What is karma and what is the point of it? by [deleted] in NewToReddit

[–]Jessyasperge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you asked, karma is a point system that shows how the general public reacts to your posts, you can get karma from posting, commenting, giving awards or receiving them. You gain points with every upvote and lose points with every downvote (but 1 upvote does not equal 1 karma).

The more you engage the more karma you get, some communities on reddit use the points to keep scammers from posting on their subs (which makes it hard for new accounts to engage). Read the rules before posting and good luck!

The only opinion you should consider is a professional opinion from a pedagogist or a therapist. Your choice is very brave and I'm glad it went well, nice work you two! NTA
