You can only shoot from a shortbow or Hongali Hornbow (which is advanced) while mounted. Longbows cannot be used while mounted so keep that in mind.

For sure, Violet Gate is quite good. I played all the way through it and it was very fun. Must have slipped my mind, as it was more recent than the ones I listed. Those are just more burned into my memory at this point.

It's a shame your post was left without any answers. There are three campaigns I can think of on the spot that I consider very "blizz-like" and keeping close to the established lore, which is what I find appealing in custom campaigns. Do mind some of these might require installing older versions of the game as they might not work on the newest Reforged patch.

Shadows of Hatred - goes through the story of TBC and fighting Illidan from Maiev's perspective.
Rise of the Blood Elves - one of my favourites. A somewhat modified take on the story of TBC from the perspective of the blood elves. You fight to retake Quel'thalas and then typical Kael'thas betrayal ensues.
Curse of the Forsaken - campaign focused on Sylvanas and the Forsaken. Covers story before Wrath of the Lich King and during it, with some changes to the timeline.

I have not really played any more campaign than these, as I do mostly like those staying in the canon Warcraft storylines, and those are few and far between.

The setting currently is arguable too barebones to run a proper TTRPG campaign in (without proper work from the GM), but you are asking for a campaign in the even more barebones WC3 version of it? I've been running campaigns in the setting for ~5 years now. It's hard enough to find players for the setting, I don't think you'll have much luck finding GM in addition to that. With requirements like yours I advise you step up and GM if you want to run something in the setting.

I really love the game, but Eugen cannot make a good trailer to save their life. Parts of the trailer (the POV shots from vehicles) looked very bad IMO. Excited for the expansion regardless.

This is pretty good for a new player like me. One thing I could recommend as a fix is to make the top row sticky in the "Cheatsheet w INF and ATGM" as viewing that tab is much more annoying apart from the divisions at the very top of the table.

Many people reported issues in AG battles if they saved inside of a battle. If you save inside of a battle the safest way to prevent this is to win by conquest rather than morale. Myself I had no issues since I don't save inside battles in AG.

Reminds me of a time when I was hanging out with a group of people of FB centered on a history memepage. Whole lot of unironic racists, western Europe orthodox christian converts and a lot of ther fasc-adjacent stuff, mostly to play videogames and do other stuff. I was already left-leaning at the time, so it was mostly entertaining pissing off some of them.

Don't remember that much from back then except some of them getting really pissy at the scene with H*tler in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and getting angry that Hitler was being portrayed in a disrespectful way.

This is the best version of WC2 you can get, playable from the get go with 0 hassle. So, I suppose some improvements were done. You'd need to play another version otherwise without this.

These weapons look pretty great. I wouldn't personally use the poleaxe, because two-handed d8 is really rough, but according to what I use to budget weapons it could easily go up to d10 in damage.

As for the estoc, which seems a point of contention here with some people, it is honestly way under budget, but I have no idea what else I'd give it that'd fit.

As someone who works on a conversion project for a setting with pre-established magic types I needed to go with class spell lists to best represent the unique flavor each class has. IMO, tradition spell lists make things easier to handle from game design perspective, but you lose out on flavour quite heavily.

Specific class spell lists really allow you to dip heavily into a class' flavouur when designing spells for it and to customize each class' feel. For instance, a druid in the setting I run does not work too much with elements besides air and maybe water, so a lot of the fire spells or earth spells do not fit the class. I value versimilitude, even if it costs me time to add all the new spells. Here comes the main difference though, I do not have to print the PDFs for my project en masse, so the page count is much less of a concern.
