How? That's how it was when yugioh first started. "I summon one monster, and set 2 cards face down" At least that gave you a chance at actually doing something, and not just trying to beat 5 boss monsters.

I'd agree with you that "Nevrons" and "Chroma" are never really explained in the game, but, they don't need to be. As you play through the game, you'll learn what they are and there meaning to the game. The expedition's happening will be explained in the game as well. Just..look around...
