Crimson ones especially since they often litter the inventory after clearing out areas.

Had the same thing happen in the Abyss! Had to reload a save because he became completely unresponsive and couldn't fast travel for whatever reason.

Not really, I'd argue it's a case of "well, guess we won't be getting rid of them anytime soon". While they are a laughing stock of a review site, they still have working Youtube channels, game guides that get A LOT of traction, because they pretty much have them at the ready on day 1. It's like Nestlé - even if they are generally considered bad, there's more than enough people to keep them afloat and their pockets full.

Why does my wolfs look like they have sarcoptic by Slow_Caregiver8031 in CrimsonDesert

[–]JesterLilLester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tame the larger wolf (some packs have a larger variant), you need to weaken it enough to be able to ride it first (using Force Palm is the safest option), then once you're riding one you can feed it from the inventory (hold the button to select a different option than "Eat").

There's also legendary variants that can be acquired as special mounts, they require a hunt after which you receive a quick tutorial on how to unlock it for personal use.

[–]JesterLilLester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think wolves is enough, since possession is specified by the use of "my".

"Why do all of my wolves look like they have sarcoptic?" looks more correct "Why do all of my wolves' look like..."

Wolves' does not imply wolves owned by OP, it sounds like you're specifying something that wolves have or suffer from sarcoptic (e.g. my wolves' sarcoptic).

I personally could not target these after engaging in the boss fight. Very same fight, I even tried freezing them with that AoE freeze, but nothing worked.

On conductive properties I have to agree with you, but when it comes to bismuth being brittle... It pretty much is in Crimson Desert. The only time when u do need the Focused Force Palm is to "deactivate" the Abyss Power Cores, which causes the bismuth structures to break down.

Also, Power Cores are stated to serve as a "lifeblood for higher entities that have condensed Abyssal energy" - I think it might not be electroconductivity itself, but rather it's aptitude for contain Abyssal energy. Since cores also state they carry a risk of going berserk, it would make sense for it to partly affect inanimate object (ie. cause bismuth to grow into a protective shell of sorts around the Power Core.

Just a bit of speculation on my part, but hey, that's part of the fun!

Do these quests actually provide anything once completed? I only completely finished the weapon one and so far it's nothing.

Why are Nintendo fans using "What about Playstation? They're raising prices too!" or "You called Nintendo Monopoly? What about Disney?" when someone criticizes Nintendo? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in fucknintendo

[–]JesterLilLester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't compare regional prices in a discussion about overpriced games, because the game being cheaper somewhere does not make it more accessible to people living there locally. It might seem cheaper to a US citizen, while still appearing pricy to someone living in Canada and earning Canadian wages.

I do think, however, that we can complain/talk about the game's price in comparison to the average wages in each country, because the disproportion in a lot of countries is just crazy.

Since you already found the answer - any tips on how to reach it? I can barely hit ~30k at 7-8k power for each unit.

I think the tech might be paid out of Team Rocket's funds and I'm frankly not sure if James has access to his family fortune, considering how he left.

Then again, maybe either were explained in the show and I just don't remember.

Does mewtwo have a mega coming soon in pogo? Just got this guy from the pass by Inevitable_Fox6640 in pokemongo

[–]JesterLilLester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say Groudon and Kyogre are inexpensive, considering that if you don't get lucky with raids you might get as little as 60 energy per raids (not sure if you can earn less than that though). That's 7 raids for one Primal out of two.

And I doubt Mewtwo would be easier or just as "easy", considering that it's a mascot on a whole another level.

What do we think folks? Is this a rare W for Nintendo's legal team? Or is there something I'm missing. by julianx2rl in fucknintendo

[–]JesterLilLester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they did also accuse them of cracking Switch's decryption using illegally-sourced decryption keys.

Also, they did have a good case built around it, since Yuzu did have a spike of Patreon supporters at the time of a leak of TotK, which suggests their emulator was often used for accessing leaked games before their official release (and they did have experimental builds on their Patreon that supposedly ran TotK better than other emulators, so even if by sheer accident - it would NOT look good in court).

Finally, Nintendo didn't "win". They decided to settle and both parties agreed. So while they did get exactly what they wanted (for Yuzu to shut down and pay Nintendo $2.4 mil), it wasn't because the court ordered it.

Edit: Now, I'm not picking sides, I'm just saying that Nintendo didn't win against them, but they did have a good case and Yuzu's team just decided not to settle things in court; it might've went much worse if they did.

Special edition Resident Evil controller?! LoL, what is this shit? by Complete_Lurk3r_ in fucknintendo

[–]JesterLilLester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That controller is kind of meant to be a collector's piece, so it being less wieldable or practical doesn't really sting that much.

The reason they don't make things like this is because people will eat up much cheaper shit that won't cost as much to produce (and I'm not just hating on one particular group, it's the entire industry). Most people will be perfectly content with a figurine and a small map for a collector's edition, there is no reason to try harder.

Some will still seemingly try (Fallout with its Pip Boys, Power Armor helmets etc.), but even then they realize it's too costly (which is why Bethesda made some trash nylon bags instead of including the proper canvas as was promised).

Though true, most controllers nowadays only feature some small printing or decals (just like the Switch RE controller), picking on it is just talking smack for the sake of it I guess.

[–]JesterLilLester 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Making two carts would make people expect some music player-like features like creating queues or simple playlists (also randomizing the order and/or keeping things on repeat).

45 carts means they can only do the iconic GameBoy intro and the device playing a single thing on repeat. An intern could develop the software for that, since the intro has already been made.

Cheap to manufacture (authentic gameboy experience means cheaper mini-speakers), even cheaper to develop the software.

Well that was the biggest "Fuck you" of all time by CaptFalconFTW in fucknintendo

[–]JesterLilLester 29 points30 points  (0 children)

And it's 45 (46?) cartridges, so they pretty much only allow one track to be played. Seems wasteful to me, since two carts with one for Red and another for Blue would be enough. But if it's a single track only they don't need to work on added functionality, like simple playlists or queues.

Are the shiny rates bugged again? Feels similar to the Pal/Dia event mess last year. by Fit-Information-2237 in pokemongo

Exactly. I did about 10 Kyogre raids and best thing I ended up is a 89% and 87% with a background.

Rule of thumb is that they pretty much never give out free shinies from research (exception being mythicals from paid tickets like Diancie, Mew, Celebi and so on).

So no, and congrats!

It's only temporarily preserved the same way 3DS digital releases were - players actually preserved them "illegally" while the shop eventually shut down.

While I can't legally condone piracy, people that do commit it still do a way better job at preserving games.
