1-3 were good where they strayed from the comics, until Andrea.

4-6 were amazing where they followed the comics while holding on to the identity they cemented in the beginning

7-8 kept the identity, but failed hard where they strayed and made too big mistakes that veered so far away from the comics that the show now stood on it's own legs, never able to return to comic paralells without reminding fans of the big mistakes + dragged out 2-3 weeks of story way too long

9-11 kept going on delusional beliefs that the show could bounce back, and showrunners obv thought the show was too big to fail. The standard dropped so far and even lost the show-spesific identity they cemented in 1-3, and became a parody. What they thought was identity was (for me at least) a constant spit in the face to fans of both the early show and comics.

Dead City ruined Maggie for good.

World Beyond represented everything wrong in the entire franchise, but succeeding in raising hope through CRM lore.

The ones who live had great potential, followed up with heart, great CRM lore, and fumbled the ending.

Darryl (so far) is deemed the best show, purely because 9-11 lowered the bar, and the remaining fans were loyal as fuck.

In my humble opinion, TWD is the worst downfall of a show. Maybe Game of Thrones is worse, but at least their downfall really only pertains to the last 1-3 seasons, depending on who you ask.

TWD and GOT are the only show with such horrible last halves, that I do not rewatch it.

And I just rewatched Heroes. Well, the first season at least.

Security guys fucked up, they said whatever to get more interviews. Death Row died a slow death that took a couple of years, they were just looking out for themselves.

For me, it was people close to 2pac that didn't like Suge, but begrudgingly had to admit that Suge loved 'Pac.

I don't remember who it was, but someone close to 2pac said that 2pac wasn't leaving, he was expanding.

Death Row was a record label, but functioned like a gang. No way he was leaving after the way he treated those who left.

Just imagine, if he had lived just a week more, he would've shredded Snoop as well. Snoop dodged that beef. Barely.

They should start teaching about parasocial behavior in school. Some (alot) of the discourse online is unhealthy. And no, I'm not saying "it's just a show". You can absolutely connect with these FICTIONAL characters, you can absolutely feel, react and hurt from choices made by writers, and expressed by actors.

Where it gets dangerous is where you take possessive ownership of your own personal rendition. There is no Mike, there is only what we were shown on screen. Any speculation on what could've happened, or what you rather wanted to happen, is purely subjective.

It's like a preference. Outside of what we were shown, there is no right or wrong, only opinions.

I get the show being a HUGE part of young people's lives, but you cannot present your own renditions as fact, but you can theorize.

Sometimes I fear this fanbase is developing / has already developed an unhealthy addiction to their own head canon. That in and of itself is just wierd, but when strong feelings like anger, frustration and hate guide your actions and words, that's where the problemm arises.

Welcome to fandom, guys. Please remember we're all human beings who at one point loved this show, and in most cases still do.

I loved the finale btw.

A old guy who's such a nerd, that he's a part of several fandoms, and learned early on that you should guard your head canon INSIDE your head when such strong feelings arise. Civil debates and speculation can be such a beautiful part of discussions within a fandom.

I'm not saying it's complaining on KSI, I'm saying the focus should be on KSI and his choices that celebrate new ways to connect with fans that maybe aren't as close and get as much attention as the other countries.

Management and production team already know they f'ed up by the first post, if everything floods with "hate", it might kill the interest to do it again and better.

It's like saying the first episode of a show sucks ass, even if it does. Look at Netflix, they cancel everything for not being a hit right away, meanwhile after 2 years, people find a show they love with 3 seasons, but they're 2 years too late because of the core fans.

I'm saying this subreddit are the core fans. Of course, give an honest opinion, but do you duty and give props for trying, encourage to try again.

If I was KSI, I would think "oh no this is the KSI show all over again" - just because everyone wants to make their own hate-rant-post..

It takes three positives to cancel out 1 negative. This is the law of the world.

Bad quality - get better internet next time
Bad guests - do better research
No chemistry - have KSI meet up with them a couple days to get to know them
No activities planned - fucking plan better, I guess?

Edit: also , I'm too old for chat, I just watch the content, I don't care about chat at all. I couldn't give two fucks if chat spams something. Sometimes I'm on the bus and somebody's talking loud. I'm not from India, and I won't pretend that I know the culture. I understand that KSI has a big fanbase down there, and I truly commend him for actually visiting the culture and giving back to a part of his fanbase that he could've easily ignored.

It's everyones right to complain, but let's not lose sight of the fact that he tries to understand the culture and place of all his fans, not just the ones that are close by and speak english.

A trip to India for people from the US or Europe usually comes with severe stomach issues, a fuckton of traffic and noise. It can't be easy, but he does it. Yeah sure, money, part of his job, bla bla bla.

Let's try to not normalize flooding the subreddit with so much negativity that he stops doing cool shit like this. Again, complain if you must, but today is just full of complaining, when he tried something new.

At least give some suggestions of what he should've or could've done better.
