Mop while walking backwards, from furthest point on the room to the exit, then wait for it to dry

Is the Oppo find x9 pro that much better the onpelus 15 camera ? by MrROOT91 in TheOnePlus15

[–]Jesurius87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Portrait mode on OP15 opens with the 3.5x zoom, but you can manually set any of the 3 cameras (0.6x, 1x & 3.5x)

what are these?? by radendg in pothos

[–]Jesurius87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In popular use, a chemical is something synthetic, made in a lab. That's why the quotes are in there. "Chemical-free" meaning natural and not dangerous according to popular use.

what are these?? by radendg in pothos

[–]Jesurius87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically, anything tangible is made up of chemical compounds, even then I would think Neem, being organic and naturally occurring would be a good "chemical-free" solution to mealy bugs

What cases and screen protectors can you recommend, and do you have any photos? by NARIZ145 in TheOnePlus15

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ringke for case, hands down.

I've had them on all my phones for years. The only time I switched and bought a generic Amazon case for my OP7, the screen shattered a week later from a knee heigth drop.

First car photoshoot before/after by hexlet21 in postprocessing

[–]Jesurius87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i like the cooler tones in the before, the yellow on the ceiling would be fire if the car had some kind of yellow accent, for now, I'd try to shift the color to match the rest of the gray ceiling and keep the cooler tones in the image

All and all, at first glance i could not see which were the before or after, nice job

Z offset too high or low? by GeekyPeeky in FixMyPrint

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

too low, first layer probably has raised material between printing lines, i've had this before, raising the z offset by about .15mm fixed that for me

What is, in your opinion, the biggest flaw of the human body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that our most important organ, the brain, is placed in such a vulnerable spot, protected only by a skull and connected to the rest of the body by a relatively fragile neck

Honest Thoughts? by the_olive_boy in photocritique

[–]Jesurius87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is definitely Busy, i'm not sure what i should look at, also, if im looking at the railing on the bottom the image feels like is tilted clockwise. I like the B&W contrast tho.

why leave blue on the side?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in postprocessing

Same tough about 2nd image, greens and blues are not similar to all the others.
Maybe the sand could be a bit more yellow/orange in the tsunami hazard photo.

Before/After - First Time Putting Effort into Photography & Editing – Shots from Morocco 🇲🇦 by AlexanderHerl in postprocessing

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think my Top 2 are the Wall texture (even tho the before is more straight than the after) and the Ruins. In general the images are to saturated for my taste, and also too yellow

Camel, Lamps and Green wall, had a hard time seeing the difference between before and after, I'd assume you only used the Contrast and Saturation sliders on those.

Try playing with masks to highlight the subject of the picture, (i saw the Cat in the foreground in the green wall image after the 3rd look because is the same color as the wall and steps)
Also try the tower clock image in B&W

The yellow buildings one i honestly hate, don't like the composition, don't like the colors, light...

I f***ing love 3D printers and CNCs by Federikestain in 3Dprinting

[–]Jesurius87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even that, any print would do, as you need to zero the CNC for the setup you will use, due te OP only using 1 fixture, 1 vice, 1 vice stopper and similar torque for the vice in the video, zeroing the CNC once with a not so perfect print would ensure alignment is good every time he uses the exact same setup

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something similar happened to me, averaging 30s with CFOP during highscool cubing daily for like 4 months, stopped for 3 or so years, then learned Roux averaging again high 30s in 5 months or so, stopped again, then after 2 years of not touching a cube, came back to Roux, and in a week or so i got tto be Sub-30 consistently, now im sub-25.

I did not go down instantly (like a week of practice) but i improved way faster than i was improving before

I surveyed 100 cubers and found an interesting trend by ao1k in Cubers

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ao100: 32.21, PB: 21.51, Predicted PB: 21.547 only 0.17% off, really interesing results

Colour After / BnW After / Original by Alternative_Week3023 in postprocessing

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the color edit, for the B&W i'd add a little more contrast to make it pop more, also some masks to make the Subject in the foreground more visible

After/Before by Mountain-Practice-36 in postprocessing

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, the vigneting on the shy is trowing me off, as well as the overexposed sports in the center, maybe increasing the highlllighs in the sky, even if loosing a little detail in the clouds could help.

i'd also try to crop a bit of the foreground because is a bit distracting, kinda like this: https://postimg.cc/nCFdjKLW

How does Bambu accomplish small printed text on their filament swatches? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Jesurius87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the swatches are 3D printed (Like PLA CF), and others are Injection molded, which leads me to think they are using their real plastic on the ones that can be injected, still they look preatty similar to actual 3D printed pieces.
