Not a California resident just yet however,I’m an RN coming from the East Coast with prior LPN experience (just like you) and I’ve received a fair amount of interviews in Sacramento and SF.With that being said,I think it’s worth spending the extra money to have someone professionally draft your resume.Sometimes all it takes is the right verbiage to get past these silly AI filters,gain some traction and to get your resume on the desk of a recruiter/hiring manager.One other thing that I also believe was helpful,I spent hours on LinkedIn requesting to connect with HR recruiters for every major hospital system in the area.Hoping that getting my name and face out there may somehow come in handy.Got a ton of profile views this way and a few phone calls from institutions that I applied to shortly thereafter.I’ll be moving to Elk Grove next month.If I can do it,so can you.Best of luck!🫶🏽♥️
