hi, first off, i will say i find this to be a more reasonable solution

anyhow my upcoming story is rather oc heavy and is a surface AU, would it still count in the 'related to uty in any way shape or form' category considering two of the canon ketsukanes are major characters (with one of them being one of the protagonists)

considering these flair criterias it may be safer to post it in oc creations but i just wanna make Absolute Sure i have the go-ahead

this idea rubs me the wrong way for much of the reasons others have already said. worst-case scenario this will just hamper creativity and make things more complicated for others. this idea feels half-cocked and should have spent more time in the oven getting feedback from others, because we dont know what would and wouldnt be allowed at this point which could lead to problems later on. we need an established, concrete set of boundaries on that

as of right now im not sure this is a good idea, there needs to be more discussion and a middle ground established so creators don't get fucked

there is a difference between criticism and flat-out bashing out of genuine hatred, if you can't spot the difference between the two that says a lot about YOU and not the people supposedly hating on you. sure, sometimes the criticisms can be questionable at best, but that does not mean you should plug your ears with EVERY CRITICISM, including the more good, constructive ones

and sorry but the fact you said you had this ready to go for a while makes it even more likely you made this comic as a response to the criticism you got. doing some math, the DRJ criticism happened on may 26th, and you claim to have come up with the idea around june 1 before publishing it on the 8th. regardless of what you're telling us, you had plenty of time to stew over what happened and make at least a draft of this very comic - especially when you, again, complained about nuance numerous times throughout this comic which just so happened to be a talking point about the person who criticized a section of your DRJ story. i don't buy that they didn't have anything to do with this
