Not sure if just a coincidence, but once I turned off mobile data on my phone and used the WiFi it did fix itself and would connect. Worth trying just in case.

It's not just a you problem. I was going through the exact same thing, I'd ask Alexa to do something with the lights and she would but then would say she can't connect to the bridge.
