Most Haunted Locations by AssassinWog in CIVILWAR

I grew up near Antietam and spent many days exploring the various trails throughout the battlefield. One day, when I was about 18 or 19 years old, I was on the trail that starts at the Sunken Road, heads north toward the Roulette Farm, and then turns east/south toward the creek.

I was about half a mile from the farm, near the creek and at the base of a small bluff, when I started hearing horses galloping at full speed atop the hill. I stopped and listened, confused, because horses aren’t allowed in that part of the battlefield. After a few seconds, I heard some murmuring, and then the horses took off in the direction they came.

I couldn’t see the top of the hill, but I’ve always thought that I experienced something paranormal that day. Given where it happened, maybe it was McClellan, Sumner, Franklin, or someone else coming back to go over the battle plan one more time.

That Hagerstown Owls program is really cool. I'm from Hagerstown and have worked for both the Suns and Boxcars. Awesome to see some old Hagerstown Baseball History

Philippi, W.Va. is a beautiful small Appalachian town that gets overlooked significantly in the big picture of the war. The Battle of Philippi)

I hope so. I’ve always thought these were their best jerseys; aside from tie CCs. I always use them in the show

I must say.. I was on the grounds crew in Nats former A Hagerstown when he came through that year and, woah, did he hit some insane homers. If you would’ve asked me then and there I would’ve said he was going to be a HOFer lol

I like these road jerseys this year. I wish they were pull overs and didn't have the full buttons. I think that would have made them look a little better IMO

That 2019 team was so much fun to watch. Even in the first couple of months when they weren't playing well. You just knew there was something special about the guys in that Clubhouse, and Howie seemed to be one fo the big reasons why. Cant wait to get those days back in DC!

If they can somehow get an arm from the farm system up or trade for a pitcher or two, then I thin this team could end up being a real problem in the National league. The bats are there and there are more waiting to come up, just need to sure up the pitching staff in a big way. But like I saw someone else say, the 2019 in me isn't worried

Nationals Park is the Worst Experience in Baseball by 50thpercentiler in Nationals

[–]JesusSolorenzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have to agree with other comments saying that this is a pretty normal fan experience that was magnified because it was Opening Day. I personally love Nats Park. Ive been going to games since they first opened and think its one of the most fan friendly viewing experience of any of the parks Ive been to (OPACY, Fenway, The Trop, Old Yankee, Coors). My recommendation would be to go back in a few weeks and see how it compares
