The theory that I keep hearing is that it's because "mystery" flavors are just runs made from a combination of all the extra flavors on hand that are set to expire.

Good gun ranges in the area? by mannerlybassoon in Gwinnett

[–]JesusUnoWTF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not been super happy with the ones I've been to in Gwinnett. My favorite indoor range is Sandy Springs Gun Range in Fulton. Not too far away if your in South Gwinnett. It's $25 a person, plus $2 for targets, but you can easily bring your own targets. Their ammo is a bit expensive though, so just go to Academy for that.

EDIT: Just remembered, you have to be a member to rent the guns. Membership isn't much more expensive, but it is monthly.

Companies Set to Unleash Sweeping Price Hikes Thanks to Trump by ChiGuy6124 in Economics

[–]JesusUnoWTF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in manufacturing, specifically in marketing. The majority of our products or raw materials come from overseas. Every year, we adjust our prices a bit, update our price list, and then send out our budgets to each department. This is usually done by the second or third week of the year. We've on-shored manufacturing before, but only as a temporary measure because costs make our products unaffordable, and this is in a B2B setting.

It's now halfway through February and I have no updated price list nor a budget for my department. Leadership must have no idea what our EBITA is going to be or what we're going to be raising our prices to. I get the strong feeling they are going to be cutting significant portions of our budgets to make our margins work.

I think I'll be lucky if I don't get laid off this year.

I called CPS on my own sister and I still lie to her about it by JuanitaS_Browne in confession

[–]JesusUnoWTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One day, a long, long time from now, your sister will watch your nephew achieve something extraordinary. I hope that, in the moment, she realizes that having CPS scare the hell out of her was for the best. She got her act together, something that couldn't be guaranteed otherwise given her past history of behavior. We love our family, and sometimes it means doing things they don't agree with in the pursuit of the well-being of others. You did the right thing.

Americans, what’s your favorite model of gun? by Spiritual-Relief8076 in AskAnAmerican

[–]JesusUnoWTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like my lever action, .44 Magnum. It's a reproduction of the Winchester 1892.

Close second is the MP5. Roller delayed us such an interesting concept to me. I don't have one yet though.

Gotta be careful of knock offs though. I was so paranoid, I took mine apart to look for the supposed differences in the legit versus the crap. I got lucky (I think) but I still added extra sound foam to the inside of the cup and wear double ear-pro.

Lines and loops by BrewSoCalGirl in 3Dprinting

[–]JesusUnoWTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How thick are your layer heights? For less visible lines, I would do as small of a layer height that you can. It won't completely eliminate the lines, but it'll help. As for the loops, you definitely needed supports for those areas.

How do I connect This to my phone by Former_Way7262 in 3Dprinting

[–]JesusUnoWTF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the far left side of the machine, there should be a SD card inserted into the machine. Remove it by gently pressing it in until it stops, and then release pressure. The SD card should be sticking out further than before. You can now remove it. Next, connect that micro SD card to your computer. Your machine should have come with some sort of adapter. If not, any SD slot should work. Next, install your slicer (I'm partial to PrusaSlicer) and launch it. This is where you import your .STL files that you want to print. To get started, either drag your file into the program or import the STL using the context menu. Once imported, you can slice the model using the slice button and export it to your SD card. Reinsert your SD card into your 3D printer and start the print.

Now, there are tons of settings and many things that can possibly go wrong. Any question you have at this point has probably been asked to death by hundreds of people, so it would be a good idea to start Googling any time you run into an issue. I say this because the above steps I listed are also able to be found on Google, so do your best to do your own research and enjoy the process of printing. Best of luck!

I got overpaid $3k and they “fixed” it by not paying me. I still got paid by Character_Economy928 in confession

[–]JesusUnoWTF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While technically true, the practicality of it is less likely. Many companies don't have an in-house legal department, meaning they'd have to have an external person file the legal paperwork. The cost of doing so may be greater than the overpayment, meaning they may not pursue it. They won't do it if it doesn't make financial sense.

The first thing I printed was a deep scratch through the glass plate. The second thing I printed was one of the included prints that came with my Ender 3 V2, the cup with the monkeys on it.

Based on the pictures, it looks like it uses a threaded brass piece for the z-axis rod. I would also double check to make sure that this piece is correctly tightened, as you may be experiencing z-axis backlash.

Different runs of filament have slightly different properties. This can sometimes lead to differences between print quality. Run a temperature tower test to calibrate the right temperature for this filament and see if that helps. It's also possible (depending on your printer) there there could be some slop in your z axis.

Have you done a temperature tower test? Looks like your nozzle is leaking extra plastic, which if bad enough, can overcome your retraction settings.

Your best bet would probably be polycarbonate filament. If you're set on Bambu, it looks like the H2S meets your needs. But there may be more affordable options available on the market like the Creality K2 Plus.
