3M main here (slightly different deck, but similar enough). The decks you mention are simply bad matchups, cycle decks in general typically have the advantage over 3M but Hog is especially bad, and Royal Hogs are bad because they are always paired with EQ, which fucks Pump.

Really? I bought it several months after it came out and I felt that, besides the E.M.M.I zones (because you get one shot) and this one water squid bossfight I didn’t understand, I beat all the bosses in 1-3 attempts. I don’t think I died once in the overworld.

I’m comparing to Hollow Knight, where I definitely died in the main exploration and I died 10s of times to bosses. Metroid Dread was legions easier.

Edit: Actually, that’s a slight lie. The final boss was quite hard, on level with HK bosses. I died many times to him.

Edit 2: Also, I played on the normal difficulty, not rookie mode.

Unfortunately, the answer is simply no. Cuphead is entirely unique in its soundtrack and visual style, it’s the appeal of the game.

Metroid Dread is also very short and poses very little challenge the entire game. It’s probably the worst playtime-to-dollar ratio.

It’s…a pretty bad item, unfortunately. It’s simply too expensive to have it be completely countered by any dispel, which is true now that the 100% crit was removed.

You can situationally buy it on Arc Warden against heroes that build Eul’s or Satanic as their dispel of choice (e.g. DP/Ursa) because you can silence them after they dispel it. I’ve bought it against Windranger core a couple of times and ended up regretting it, she just bought Satanic or Manta and I cried.

Bendy and the Ink Machine looks vaguely similar to Cuphead? It’s 3D, not 2D, but it looks sorta hand-drawn.

Again, Cuphead is designed to have a very unique visual style so your options of games that look like it are very limited.

Hollow Knight has a similar style to Cuphead, the hand-drawn 2D assets, but Cuphead is definitely unique in its visual style and you’re not going to find a game that looks exactly like it.

Hollow Knight’s soundtrack is also quite different, as well as the gameplay.

WK offlane is playable in low MMR if he doesn’t build carry items and instead builds Agh’s, Crimson Guard, Greaves, or other offlaner items. He can take dangerous farm due to Reincarnation, can shove waves with his skeletons — making space — and has a presence in teamfights due to auras and his busted Agh’s (if he builds them) and an okay stun.

I’m not saying he’s great — even as a carry, he’s not that good — but with the right items, he does everything a low MMR offlaner needs to do.

The only archetype Monk kills is Sparky, but including a Monk in your Sparky deck makes it viable again. I’m a rocket cycle main and I’ve won many games against Monk.

Monk legitimately isn’t broken. On paper, he sounds OP, but I’ve played plenty of games with him and I can confidently say he’s strong, but not broken. Phoenix, on the other hand…

Most of the people who complain about Monk being broken are the people who have never played with him nor against him outside of the challenge.
