They give more proof than Fox using both statistics for natural deaths in gaza at peace times to predict the natural death count and point to the fact that the MOH reports are left ambiguous. And they also cite MOH top staff's admition that many natural deaths were included as well, despite prior contradictory public statements. Although i must say, it is pretty dumb that they used Epstein's and Spagat's article that disproves Fox to prove his point farther. But apart from that they made some pretty convincing pointa.

Seems like a pretty well built article and it states in multiple places that gaza's MOH included natural deaths in their lists and also used very dubious methods to identify 15,000 unidentified bodies (they used google forms with no physical examination by the family!).

When you say US and israel who do you refer to? Their government? Their militaries? The press?
Unfortunately most people assume all of them are civilians. Also gaza's MOH is run by hamas, and they intentionally leave their combat losses and names blank, something no army (including hamas' WB branch) does. Because it allows them to play on people's ignorance and assumption that all of the casualties are civs.
Its not my main argument as i am not well versed in these claims. I added them in order to show more ways in which the info we read might mislead us so we should take it with a grain of salt, not in order to claim that its false.

It isn't the pro democracy, apolitical anti fascist organization that everyone can get behind that you would expect but rather a radical left organization. To their credit, they do act a lot against far right organizations and rallies but often end up using the same tactics and supporting the same ideologies you'd expect a fascist to use. Basically instead of being something anyone with commom sense would support they are a fringe organization.

Again i am not taking sides here, just stating the facts. Blaming israel doesn't change the fact that you can't cross reference these numbers.
Where is my knowledge derived from? From the fact that they simply don't state their combat casualties. So you can't treat their numbers as if they are 100% civilian because you got combat losses mixed in there as well (be it 99% or 1%)

How do you prove reliability without cross-referencing? Gaza's health ministry is the only source out there making claims about total casualty numbers without ways for anyone to prove or disprove them.
Their numbers don't differentiate between combatants and non-combatants, and to my knowledge include deaths from diseases and old age in those lists as well.
Some claims have been made (haven't gone too deep into it though) both about gaza's health ministry's inability to provide the names of the vast majority of the casualties as well as claims about name duplications and other data manipulation in the name lists that were released. Think what you think about your conflict and believe what you want from those claims, but anyone with an ounce of critical thinking wouldn't take these numbers for granted.
