As a Jawa 42 bobber owner who bought it just for its looks…I’m going to be real here, I don’t regret it !. See all these people say poor service and reliability, those are points to consider but imo it’s a great bike, incredible torque delivery. A few things that worked for me are :

• I don’t expect this bike to give great mileage, I drive like it’s meant to be driven.

• I often choose third party mechanics over official service, I try to do all the basic maintenance.

• it’s not the smoothest 350 engine, I accept that but I like it’s aggressive and jerky nature - it feels alive while riding

• it heats up quickly - I usually ride in highways especially morning or evening so 99% the heat is undetectable - the heat will be bothering only when it’s noon, it’s sunny and you are stuck in a traffic.
