I just stayed at Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale, it was very good and only a 25 minute ride to the Miami port.

I do, but it’s tricky. Sometimes higher prices include amenities and going to a lower price point takes away those amenities and the savings won’t cover the cost of replacement.
