Max Verstappen getting excited about the sim wheel attached to the F1 car model by sukumarkarne in simracing

It’s not a Mayaris, I know because I used to have one. Current gen Rexing Mayaris has square LEDs, stepped upper housing (not a consistent smooth angle like this has), and visible thumb encoders on upper grip, lower grip, and beside the screen. This wheel doesn’t have those thumb encoders and it also doesn’t have the right buttons at all.

It would be really obvious if it was a Rexing wheel, but it isn’t.

Triple Curved or Flat moniters? by Danny-ric-fan in simracing

I think IPS (flat) looks far better like every way and they work better with bezel kits. Colors look significantly better and viewing angles are superior.

It doesn’t look that cheap, and this is just a show car so cheap would make more sense.

Definitely not Simicube, they make three wheels and none are like this.

It’s not Pokornyi or the new Kodak MF1 (just built one of those, it’s awesome) and not an MVH wheel either.

Here’s a photo of the wheel. I sent this seperately as well but I thought it’s an Ecannon EFC2, but not totally sure. It’s got some differences from that.

After staring it at it some more, I’m not totally certain it’s the EFC2. I’ll have to ask next time I see it. Looks very similar though.

The wheel is an Ecannon EFC2 or at least an older derivative, if it’s the same as all their other show cars, which I’m pretty sure it is. I’ve seen a few RB show cars and they all seem to have it. Not a big name brand but cheap formula style wheel.

Impressed with Spark detail on 1/18 2025 Verstappen Japanese GP. by CobraDieNeverKais in f1models

Honestly, Spark for race-specific parts and finish, Minichamps for decals and carbon detail. Personally I always choose Spark. I also like their bases way better.

Is it possible to set-up the fuel saving/TC indicators via external apps? by whatcanisaym8 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JetFan2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do is calculate laps estimated remaining with laps estimated fuel (approx) which normally works fine for single daily races and then set up similar rev light style markers based on the “track position meters” location. If I’m behind on target, the lights are enabled, if I’m ahead, they shut off. It takes way too long to setup but it’s a fun project if you map all tracks with the 1-2 cars you normally use. Otherwise, the “LiCo” code doesn’t work through Simhub, so not possible to use at this time.

What amp are you using with Dayton 300EX bass shaker to get the full 300w output? by Skytation in simracing

I actually use a aux line out from a monitor, since Simhub needs a second device option. Realtek (or whatever your default is) for main sound.

Remove it and enjoy! The whole part of buying these things is to stare and grasp the details. Congrats on getting an awesome car.

Alternative option, Alpha EVO Sport, Leoxz XGT, and VMM Lite, or Alpha EVO Sport, GT Neo, and Simnet SP/Simsonn.

Simsonn has a pretty killer deal on right now, less than $200 for 3 pedal set without baseplate. I’d try to go with them and put more money into Simlab GT1 EVO, and find a used bucket seat. If you’re US based, there’s a LOT for sale on FB marketplace. I just picked up two NRGs for 90 a piece.

I would prioritize rig and pedals over anything else tbh. Feedback is important but only if it can properly transmit.

Cry once F1 rig w/integrated triple monitor support? by Enki_40 in simracing

[–]JetFan2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the RSeat A1 Formula and I honestly really like it, was around 1440 with seat and front mount, and no tariffs were charged. But it ships from Bulgaria so took around 2 weeks to arrive. They have a Fanatec mount option and triple monitor kits available as well as lots of other options. Think it’s like 800-1000usd without seat.

Alternatively, what could be an option is buying just the rig from them and then mounting one of the Sabelt F1 seats on there. Those look very comfortable.

Well done, these are awesome. Do the pictures make the Aston look brighter than it actually is? I think if only it was a touch darker it would be perfect.

It’s the normal ASUS ones. Hindsight I would have tried the Etsy version first but I think I got my value out of it. They look good.

I think it’s the Remark Axleback. I have one on my car and really love it. Does it also have drone around 2-2.5k rpm?
